////////"Simply perfect," the stocky, white-coated tom appraised as he stepped back to admire his handiwork, giving the gorse he had tugged over the - well, he supposed burrows - an approving pat. A shiver ran through his muscular frame as the melting snows of Leafbare dripped down from the branches above, dampening his thick coat. As he tilted his yellow gaze skyward, the tom could just about make out the nest he had made for himself in the intertwining arms of the trees. "Yes, this will do grandly," he repeated with a grin that showed the whites of his teeth. He had worked through the Leafbare to have his camp prepared by Newleaf and, finally, it was ready. On the ground, there were dens for the young, the old, the sick, but the warriors would nest in the trees just as he. All the tom needed, now, was a sign...
////////A startled yip caught in the tom's throat as a flock of doves startled from their roost, taking off into the skies with a chortled cry. The white tom's fur bristled uncomfortably as ice cold mush rained down upon him, an annoyed hiss slipping between his teeth. Shaking the snow from his back, the tom barely hesitated before taking off in pursuit. His eyes trained on the route of the birds above the tree canopy, the thick-furred cat sprinted through the forest as though his life depended on it. He didn't know how long he ran for before the birds stopped, seeming to disappear into the clouds as though they had merely been ghosts in the first place.
////////The tom cat skidded to a halt, his breath coming in short pants, and narrowly missed colliding with the mossy boulders that had appeared before him. Blinking his pale eyes, he gazed around himself, suddenly wary of the clearing he had stumbled upon. An eerie stillness surrounded him, as if no living thing before had dared step where he had. The tom gulped, returning his attention to the imposing rocks that dominated the clearing. Studying the rock face closely, he could make out hundreds and thousands of claw marks slicing up and down the rock surface, tiny scars that told tales of years many before his. "This must be it," he murmured excitedly to himself, his bushy tail quivering behind him. "The place to meet with Starclan that the white bird promised." Slowly - hesitantly - the tom stalked the parameter of the boulders, gazing up its tall face with wide, appreciative eyes.
////////Any capable leader of Featherclan should be able to climb the Moonstone.
////////The tom twisted on his heels, searching the tree line for who had spoken. "Show yourself," he demanded in a low voice, shoulders tense. But, despite his threat, no-one emerged. With a shudder, the tom twisted his head back to assess the full height of the stones. "Featherclan..." He heard himself repeating. That's what the bird had promised him...
////////Stealing a deep, steady breath, the tom turned to pad to the edge of the clearing until he had put some distance between him and the so-called 'Moonstone'. Tentative moments passed whilst the cat gathered his strength (and his nerves), before he suddenly lurched forward. He growled sharply as his claws collided with the cold rock, some feet off the ground, his back paws scrambling for a hold. His muscles aching in protest, the large tom slowly began his climb up the sheer face. By the time he had made it successfully over the top (given the odd slip of the paw that sent him skidding half-way to the ground again), the sun had begun to dip over the trees. The tom collapsed in a heap of aching white fur, his whole body shaking with the effort of the climb.
////////Egretstar. Unable to lift his head from his paws, the tom merely flickered a curious eye and an ear towards the source of the sound. A tall, white bird towered upon him, it's great wings patiently folded over its back as the egret appeared to stare straight through him. A capable leader, indeed. "Egretstar?" The tom croaked, confused and perhaps slightly dazed. The bird dipped its lean head in an acknowledging nod. How may Starclan help you?

Rosepaw woke up to cold chills in the morning. Wasn't I sleeping with Bearpaw last night? She wondered, glancing around her nest for the tom. Weezy ditched me! The only cat near her was the new apprentice, Vanillapaw. "Hey, you know where Bearpaw is?" She questioned, her tail flicking in a happy annoyance.
"Oh? He's with Patchfur, I think." She commented, licking her fur clean.
"C'mon, why don't you go training with us? I think Blazestar's overseeing it!" She offered, smiling awkwardly.
"Uhh, okay." She said, a simple shrug.
Rosepaw spotted Bearpaw across the clearing, running up to her friend and tackling him. "Hey, Weezy!" She purred, smiling all the while.
Bearpaw shouldered her off, flicking his eyes over to Blazestar who was watching. She quickly got off him, playing it cool as she took a deep breath.
"Rosepaw, why do you call Bearpaw 'Weezy'?" The ginger tabby questioned with his voice calm.
However, Rosepaw wasn't relaxed. Moreover, she was on edge. "I don't know, I like to tease him." She said, her tail laying lip behind her with her nerves. However, she felt Bearpaw's tail brush up against her own, making her hairs lay flat again.
"His name is Bearpaw, given to him respectively by Starclan. You can still tease each other, but respect Starclan's name for him." Blazestar ordered, his gaze level with her eyes. Rosepaw nodded, but he wasn't finished speaking. "Flameskip, Patchfur, Flintfang; Let's see how these three fair in battle." The tom called, the large group following him out the camp for a while.

Rosepaw leaped on top of Vanillapaw, pinning her quickly. A prideful smile was coming upon her muzzle.
"Vanillapaw! You need to stop moving like a badger and be agiler!" Flameskip commented on his apprentice, a huff coming from him. Yet, Rosepaw felt like he wasn't exactly as annoyed as he seemed.
"Jeez..." Vanillapaw mumbled to herself, disappointed in her skill.
"You've just gotta keep more weight on your back paws, if you keep it on your front then it'll be harder to turn and twist." Rosepaw offered her knowledge, grinning as she demonstrated.
"Like this?" She tried herself, her front legs hovering slightly as she was standing on her back legs.
"Yeah, try getting Bearpaw. He isn't as good at this, so you two are matched." Rosepaw said making sure she was loud enough for the tom to hear. She noticed the amused glint in his eye as they made eye contact.
The two sparred each other, this time Vanillapaw using her advice. Rosepaw was right though, Vanillapaw now had a little more finesse, but Bearpaw was still more stocky. However, Vanillapaw made a come-back and swept his paws from under him to get him off balance. She pinned him down on his side to make it impossible for him to get back up. "And Bearpaw died, oh no!" Vanillapaw called, yet nuzzled him slightly.
That... Wasn't needed. Rosepaw thought, yet threw that away. It was all playful, why should she care anyway?
As Rosepaw looked up, she noticed Blazestar staring at her intently. "Good work... All of you." He praised, but was still staring independently at her.
"Let's all continue learning new moves, alright?" Flameskip offered, shouldering his sister to stop chatting with Flintfang.
Blazestar, however, was leaving the clearing and heading back to camp.

Weather:

The snow has begun to melt and the water has begun to thaw. There is minor flooding in some areas but not enough to be worried just yet. The days are growing longer and the sun is shining brightly. Prey seems to have become more abundant and the odds of finding cats are fairly high while on patrol. Though in this time of plenty there is also an increase of danger, not just by predators but by rogue groups, looking for a new territory to claim. Kittings will run much smoother, maybe even better and herbs have started to pop up in abundance.

HorizonClan territory is on a vast strech of decidious forest. Cutting through the middle of it is a slow-flowing river. Much like the ancient Clan RiverClan, these cats enjoy swimming. The forest is filled with birdsong, and the grass is green and soft underpaw. The leaves are vibrant green in the summertime. In the very middle of the forest lays a lake, and near it a spacious, grassy clearing. During greenleaf, there is a kot of trouble from Twolegs, because they like to camp around the lake.

HorizonClan's weather is nice, once adapted to. In greenleaf, it can get quite hot, and the sun shines brightly.
During leaffall and leafbare, it is very mild. However, the snow is very heavy. During newleaf, there aren't many floods due to the heat. The precipitation (other than snow) is normal.

The main source of prey in HorizonClan is fish and frogs from the river and lake, however they do enjoy birds,
squirrels, mice, shrews, and sometimes even rabbits or hares.

HorizonClan cats are sleek, slim, and long-legged. They usually have short fur, yet it is not uncommon to have a long furred pelt. They are very quick, agile, clever, and are good jumpers. They can be very loving and merciful. Some cats within the Clan, however, tend to be short-tempered and quick to pick a fight. HorizonClan cats are always on the lookout for new cats,
and are very friendly to anybody they happen to come across when patrolling. However, if this cat happens to fight them, refuse to get off territory, or start an argument, HorizonClan cats are very quick to chase them off their territory.

HorizonClan's boundaries consist of a large Thunderpath to the North which has countless monsters; a very rapid, rocky, and deadly river to the South, a steep, rocky cliff to the East, and to the West there is rocky land that gradually becomes mountainside.

The color splattered she-cat made her way up towards the High Den, tail flicking eagerly as she scanned the camp for the nervous form of Fogpaw. He had passed his warrior assessment with flying colors, and now it was time for some more good news to circulate around the Clan. She had already heard from Splashpelt that there was another she-cat expecting, her eyes flickering towards the rounded form of Snowbird for a few moments. Sitting down on the branches that made up her den, she called out "All cats old enough to swim across the streams, gather for a Clan meeting!" Expectantly, cats began to pour from their dens and gather around the center of camp, even Eaglestrike, the Clan elder who had taken comfortably in the Elders den. His kits had been worried at first, afraid that he would feel too alone in the den, but as it turned out the spacious interior made him very at home. "Cats of PebbleClan, today we welcome a new warrior among our ranks. Fogpaw, please step forward."
Shyly, the smokey gray tom headed to the front, sitting down and staring up at Olivestar with wide eyes. "Poppyflower, has this apprentice completed his training and assessment, enough to make you believe that he is ready to become a full warrior of PebbleClan?" She asked, and the Deputy nodded. "He has." Standing, the brown and white she-cat looked directly at Fogpaw now, her eyes not wavering. "Fogpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend PebbleClan, even at the cost of your life?"
"I do"
"Then by the power of StarClan, you shall receive your warrior name. Fogpaw, from this moment you will be known as Fogfall. PebbleClan honors your humble nature and loyalty to the Clan."

The pale silver and white she-cat sat in the middle of the woods, looking down at her reflection in the stream. Her rounded belly was beginning to show, and she could feel the squirming of kits inside. Snowbird could never imagine being in this predicament right now, though she didn't regret it. These kits were hers, and she would protect them with her life..even if the litter would be split up in the end. If any of the kits looked too similar to Wolfclaw.. there could be a price to pay. Hearing the sound of pawsteps, Snowbird's thoughts dissipated as she turned around to face Jayfrost, the heartbreak plain across his face. She didn't say a word as he walked towards her, sitting down just a few pawsteps away with his eyes steady on her face, not wanting to look down at her stomach. "The others think that they're mine." He said, voice quiet as she looked towards the ground. "I wish they were."
Jayfrost's eyes narrowed, his fur beginning to twitch in irritation. "Did someone attack you?" He asked, glaring around the woods as if in search of someone who would dare bother Snowbird. Shaking her head, she scooted closer to the tom. "No, it was another tom..from another Clan. We were meeting up, and it was all friendly at first.. We got closer, and after I found out I was carrying kits I told him this couldn't continue. He was a good warrior, there isn't a need to worry. I just wish it was you I had gotten close to instead." Letting out a huff of frustration, Snowbird leaned into Jayfrost's fur, her face upset. "If the Clan finds out these kits are mixed with another Clan, I don't know what I'll do. What if the other Clan finds out and tries to take them away from me?" She asked, her pain easing as the gray tom wrapped his tail around her protectively. "They won't find out. I'll say they are mine."
There was a still quiet shared among them both for a few moments, neither one of them daring to say anything. "You don't have to do that." Snowbird muttered quietly, gazing up at the tom as he gave touched her nose to his. "But I will. I'll say that they are mine, and I will treat them like my own. I will love them with all my heart, just as much as I love you."
Snowbird's mouth opened slightly in shock, her stomach fluttering with the feeling of surprise and the movement of kits. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you." She told him, the only other company around being the noises of the stream and the singing of birds. "Snowbird, I will spend my whole life with you. Even when I am in StarClan, I will still by by your side."
