HOW TO PLAY
- Starting Off Tell me a little bit about your character, the name of your team and whether it's a Rescue Team or an Exploration Team. Rescue Teams take on jobs involving rescuing lost or weakened Pokemon from dungeons, as well as the occasional item delivery or escort mission. Exploration Teams on the other hand explore and map new places, but they still do jobs, although their jobs are normally hunting outlaws or retrieving stolen items, but they occasionally take on rescue missions. Tell me your favorite type, so we can use it for the Pokemon you'll be turned into. Alternatively, you can choose any Mystery Dungeon starter, and we will use the favorite type for your partner. Even though Generation VII has not released a PMD game, you can still use the Alola starters, as well as Rockruff and Mimikyu.
- Recruiting Members Obviously, once of the most important things to making a good team is to get new members. Once a week, you can put up a Help Wanted Poster in the Town Square, requesting a random Pokemon of a type of your choice, or a random Pokemon of a random type. You can also recruit Pokemon while you are out in a dungeon, as well as from missions that have '???' as the reward.
- Missions Once every 6 hours, you can go on a mission. To get a mission to go on, you can either look in your mailbox, or go down to the Pelliper Post Office's Bulletin Board and find one. Missions are ranked by difficulty, but you won't be able to accept missions outside your team's skill range, meaning a new team will not receive a difficult mission.
- Mission Difficulty and Ranking System Missions are ranked based on their difficulty, and new teams will not receive difficult missions. This section is here for ease of reference for moderators. Below is a chart of mission difficulties, as well as the Rescue/Exploration points they reward, as well as a guide to how many points a team needs to achieve the next rank

- Discovery During any form of exploration, whether it's going on a mission or just exploring for fun, you have a good chance of finding something interesting. You can either discover a new dungeon, which happens 50% of the time, find a special item, which happens 40% of the time, or find a new species of Pokemon, which happens 10% of the time.
- Tournaments Once a month, a tournament between teams will occur. You can enter the tournament to win prizes. Some tournaments have entry fees, but all of them have amazing prizes. Prizes can include Mega Stones, Z-Crystals, rare Pokemon eggs, or plain Poke. Other than Mega Stones and Z-Crystals, items are not permitted for usage in tournament battles. All battles will be 4-on-4, so teams that don't have at least 4 members can't enter. The prize for tournaments will be chosen in a poll.
- Evolution Pokemon can evolve when they reach certain requirements, but they need to go to a place called Luminous Peak. Luminous Peak is off limits to teams that have not reached Diamond Rank. Once you reach Diamond Rank, you will receive a letter in the mail telling you that you can go to Luminous Peak.
- Rare Pokemon Colorations When you recruit a new Pokemon, regardless of how it was obtained, there is a chance it will have special colors, and not just Shiny colors. There are also Albino and Melanistic Pokemon. Under normal circumstances, you will have a 75% chance of recruiting normal Pokemon, a 15% chance of recruiting Shiny Pokemon, an equal 5% chance of finding either Albino or Melanistic Pokemon. If you have a Z-Crystal that is not being used in order to activate Z-Moves, you will have a 50%/20%/15%/15% chance of finding Normal/Shiny/Albino/Melanistic Pokemon of the type corresponding to the Z-Crystal.
- Mega Stones + Mega Evolution While in a dungeon, some fully evolved Pokemon will be able to Mega Evolve into a higher form, but the form is only temporary. Once you exit the dungeon, you will return to normal. In order to Mega Evolve, the team Leader must be holding a Key Stone, which does not count as a held item. If a Pokemon that can normally Mega Evolve has a regional variant, regional variants cannot Mega Evolve.
- Z-Crystals + Z-Moves Z-Crystals can be used to preform Z-Moves in a dungeon, or increase the chances of finding uniquely colored Pokemon of the same type as the Z-Crystal. In order to use Z-Moves, the team Leader must be wearing a Z-Power Ring, which like the Key Stone, does not count as a held item. Z-Crystals that are for a specific Pokemon do not increase the chances of finding uniquely colored Pokemon.
- Battle Points Every once in a while, you will receive a mission in the mail that is a battle challenge. If you accept a battle challenge and win the battle, you will receive Battle Points as part of your reward. There is a shop in town that only accepts Battle Points. You can also use Battle Points at the Dojo to learn new moves, and you can also trade your Battle Points for Poke at the bank, with an exchange rate of 1 BP=50 Poke.
- Breeding Unlike in the main Pokemon games, Pokemon do not need to be of the same egg group in order to breed, but they can still breed if they are. Pokemon that are of a similar body shape can breed with each other as well. EX: Gardevoir can breed with Lucario. Sometimes, if one of the parents is holding a certain item, or the two parents are of specific species, a rare egg will appear. When a team receives an egg, be it through breeding or a mission reward, the egg will go to Chansey's Day Care, where it will stay until it is ready to hatch. Every 1000 steps a Pokemon needs to hatch in the main games will be turned into a post for when it hatches, rounded up. If a Pokemon needs 5140 steps to hatch from an egg, it will hatch in six posts from the time the egg was received. When parents are two different species, there is a 50/50 chance the egg will hatch from the father or the mother's species, instead of all eggs being of the mother's species.
- Training Dojo and the Room of Spirit and Time Out in town, there's a Training Dojo managed by a Lucario, Mienshao, and Scrafty. Mienshao watches over the practice dungeons, which allow teams to train against a specific type, Scrafty takes care of teaching Pokemon new moves in exchange for Battle Points, and Lucario is in charge of the Room of Spirit and Time. Within the Room of Spirit and Time, two Pokemon can do a year's worth of training in a single day. Something strange within the room allows Pokemon who evolve by leveling up to evolve while inside the room. It costs 750 Poke for a single Pokemon to go in, or 1000 for two. The room can only used twice a week by each team, and the same Pokemon cannot enter more than once a week.
- Summon Items Occassionally when you are in a dungeon, or complete a mission with '???' labeled as a reward, you will obtain a strange item. This item, known as a Summon Item, allows you to battle a Legendary Pokemon. As with any Pokemon you battle, you have a chance of recruiting the Legendary Pokemon, and this chance increases with every victory, but also decreases with every defeat. To keep rookie teams safe, Summon Items cannot be used until a team has reached Royal Rank, and teams can only use one Summon Item every two weeks.
- Post Format After your first post, you will use the following format in every post to keep track of your clan. Replace the "link" in the X with the image of your cat.You may edit slightly, but not too much.
