With Fogkit nearing apprentice age, Duskrunner and Bramblemist compete against each other to win the kit over to their side. Fogkit enjoys the company of them both, but has already secretly decided she's going to become a medicine cat with her mom.

Lupine and Bunting doting on their kits, being sappy parents, etc. etc. Locuststar reluctantly parts from his mate at her request to get some fresh air and try to get along with the other cats. Whitebark will be their new home for a while, after all.

Locuststar joins Brambleshade, Maplestrike, Honeypaw and Sablefeather scouting out routes for the trial and hoping to hunt along the way. there's more detail here, but I honestly can't remember what all the trial is supposed to have. it's written down somewhere, though The patrol comes across a meek tortoiseshell molly who agrees to return to camp with them to wait out the winter months.

Upon returning, they several new faces among their ranks, including a bitter looking blue point molly. She doesn't appear to be entirely happy with the group she came with - all of whom were eager to mooch off of a welcoming clan(?) seemingly doing all the hunting for them. She starts yelling about a leader, where that leader might be, etc., before being confronted by a tense Honeypaw. After a failed hunt, the ginger warrior's not really in the mood and her attitude makes the situation worse than it was before. Galeglare decides to take up a leadership position, but quickly finds she's competing with several other warrior who are already doling out tasks hoping to get a leg up before the upcoming trial. --> Galeglare forces a couple of cats out onto patrol who are none too happy about it.

more stuff here. not entirely decided. i want to develop Sable and Brambleshade's relationship a bit more cause there's a discussion between the two of them I want to write, but they kind of need to be mates for that so... random scene between this two, i guess

Darkstar shook her head with a scowl as she saw the condition that Gingerstorm had brought her clan back in. Gingerstorm was sick and out for at least a moon, for fear of him getting worse. Treefrost was complaining of a belly ache, which did not bode well for her either. Only good thing that happened was that they brought back a new warrior with them, even if that warrior was injured. That confirmed that Gingerstorm, even though he has been the longest warrior serving her, was not anywhere close to ready to become deputy.

Clan Tradition:
When an apprentice is ready to become a warrior, they shall go on a week long quest into the Two-Leg territory on the western boarder, where they will look for a monkey by the name of Fitzgerald, and he will make their new clan collar for them. If they succeed then they shall be welcomed back to the clan as a full warrior, if they do not then they will have to train for an additional moon before they are able to try again. If they fail a second time, they are banished from the clan for weakness and a disrespect for clan tradition and law.

About:

All cats in Marshclan are aggressive and battle hungry. Insulting each other as jokes, play fighting but way more violent then how kits would and starting random battles. With a strict leader that does not take mistakes lightly, they are battle hungry. They live in a morass, a wet land being overlapped with shallow ponds. The ponds drown grass and just barely touch the trunks of surrounding willows. The cats hunt amphibians, rodents and small birds. They are known as: Rigorous or intolerable.

Weather:

The skies are dark, the days are windy, bitter and cold. No cat can see a whisker length in front of their nose as the blizzard storms down onto the territories. Not even predators will be out during this time as anything can get lost and turned around in this storm. It is best to stay in camp and keep eachother warm, but even then sickness happens.

Warning: In the next few replies a blizzard will happen among the territories. Clans with twenty or less cats will be saved by Starclan(me). This is meant to create some hardships for the bigger clans, and don't worry it won't last too long.

As you all have may noticed CaC has its very own lineart! The lines were created by the very talented Grey_Hoodie and are being colored in by various other mods, mini mods and the CaC artists. Allowing us to use the lineart for your cats lets us give more unique patterns as we are limited to free to use pictures. If you want your cats to be transferred onto the lineart all you have to do is get in contact with a mod and the team will take care of it.

I have also noticed that a lot of you have not been adding pebbles correctly. Remember, every post you make you get five pebbles automatically. Patrols will sometimes bring back extra pebbles they find as well! Pebbles can be used here at the cac store anytime!

Hunting
Lunestorm, Butterflyleap, Versaillesheart, Ottomanspire, Crabewhistle, and Tectonicmarch returned with two stoats during the blizzard but Crabwhistle and Tectonicmarch got frozen toes while Butterflyleap and Versaillesheart slipped on a patch of ice they did not see and got minor sprains. Crabwhistle and Versaillesheart just need to warm up for the rest of the day and should be fine. Butterflyleap and Tectonicmarch need two moons of rest for their dprains.

Fuméemist and Threeleg return with a bird. However, while hunting Brebiscurl, Seismicwhisper, Archipelagoislands, and Twilightpounce got separated from the patrol and got lost in the blizzard, they will need a rescue party.

Patisseriedew, Whimbreleyes, Whitefang, Fauconflight, Blaireauface, and Raviolinose found a frozen big fish that could be added to the kill pile.

Patrolling
Coatiheart returned to camp with horrid news about Richterscreech, Écaillefin, Loonfrost, and Poussiéregust! He had gotten separated from the others and they got lost. (They will return next post)

Peuwobble, Violindapple, Flûtesong, Genetshade, Martinskip, and Grognoneyes returned to camp unharmed but a bit cold and look forward to the warm dens and nests. They did manage to find twenty pebbles in the snow.

Juncoflight, Whimbreleyes, Pipistrellecave, Brouillardheart, Termitetongue, and Boarshine return with an uneventful report, however Termitetongue, Whimbreleyes and Juncoflight got frozen tails. They will be just fine with a night of rest in a warm nest.

Powers
Richterscreech’s powers did not activate.
Peuwobble’s powers activated and kept the group from getting lost on patrol during the blizzard.

Hunting
Chimera, Qinling, Moon, Caracal, Rye, and Icarus got lost in the blizzard (They will return next moon)

Bramble, Spruce, Ivy, Racka, Cinnabar, and Sun caught two hares, but Ivy and Sun slipped on some ice as they could not see and have minor sprains. They will need a moon of rest.

Eleuchia, Areca, Lotor, Larum, Rock, and Fennel caught a bird, they soon lost it though in an ambush from the rogues in the blizzard. They only thing they returned to camp with are bruised egos and a few scratches.

Mambo, Juniper, Cumulus, Knot, Oriole, and Leech met a lost kittypet in the blizzard. On the way back Mambo, Juniper, Oriole, and Leech were separated from the patrol and got lost. (They will return next moon)

Aquilegia, Beauty, Coluber, Perch, Roughy, and Candiru returned to camp with minor scratches from a rogue group. Aquilegia and Beauty also had frozen tails while Perch and Candiru had some frozen toes. They will need to just warm up for the night and will recover in no time.

Story:
Following Meadow of Arrowheads
The large she-cat padded into her new home, wind gusting flurries into her face. She quite liked it here. It was a home, something she'd missed for moons. She was especially happy to see how close the cats here were. Walking to the Prey Tower, she plucked out a hare and waved her tail at Jade of Deserts and Cloud of Stars. The two smile and sit with her.
"Care for some hare?" She offered politely.
"I would, thank you."
"Yes please!" she purred lightly as they took bites from it.
"Thank you again for accepting me into the Kindred." she mews, settling to her belly as she feels full. The camp is blanketed in snow, but her thick pelt helped keep the cold out.
"Of course, dear." Cloud was a bit too busy with food to answer. His mind seemed full lately. Meadow looked to Jade, who's eyes glimmered with an apology.

“There it is”
Seeker pronounced proudly to his siblings, looking at the giant hollow tree, that still seemed so full of life.
“You brought us all the way here for this tree, telling us there’s something special about it, and yet I don’t see or feel anything special.”
His brother Ashes spoke up with the most bored face he could make
“You only say this because you’re the only one who hasn’t had the gods visit him.”
Rose looked challenging at their brother watching as his body tensed up.
“That were just stupid dreams you two had!”
They would argue for a while, Seeker was sure of that. But it was true. Both he and Rose were visited in their dreams. He was the first, but Roses dreams became more frequent every moon, and they could even talk to her. Seeker could hear them whisper sometimes, but Rose could have little conversations with them. Sometimes they were even in the same dream together. No. That weren’t dreams, yes, they met this “gods” or however they call themselves in their sleep, but if their were dreams why could Rose and he talk so long about them saying the exact same and knowing the same things? No, they were more than dreams, much more.
“I think we should stay here.”
Seeker said calmly to his still fighting siblings. Both looked at him for some heartbeats.
“Did a mouse got your brain!?”
Ashes looked at him as if he has just turned into this rodent.
“I think we should”
Rose spoke up “Something tells me it is right to stay.”
Seekers heart almost stopped. These words must mean that this is right. His sister could talk to those who called them here.
“Oh, if that’s so! Well yeah if you can feel this than it must be right!”
Seeker knew Ashes would probably never really understand them, but he was still happy to have him here. He could have left them a long time ago. He didn’t have to come here with them, but he still did. He maybe can’t believe and trust in those who called them here but he trusted in Seeker and Rose
