but the toms thoughts were quickly interrupted as a twig nearby snapped. ears flicking forward ,, white diamond turned his head toward the sound. in the brush white diamond could see two pale yellow eyes staring at him. a low growl erupted from the other cats throat. dropping his prey white diamond let out a growl as well ,, unsheathing his claws. eyes slitting once more ,, white diamond stood over his prey. a light breeze blew through the forest ,, and in the wind seemed to be a voice.
a wish. white diamond recognzed the voice as gray diamonds. the other cat lunged. jumping to the side ,, white diamond did not want to fight with the she cat if this was the marquise cat that starclan had sent him. it did not seem that she wished to fight either for the she cat grabbed onto the hare and ran off.
xxxhey! turning ,, white diamond started after the she cat. it was not long before white diamond caught up with the prey snatcher. she must not of been used to the territory because she was stopped at the base of the mountain ,, staring up at a steep rock wall. she must of heard white diamond coming up behind her ,, so she whipped around to face him.
xxxlisten ,, i don't know who yer are ,, but i ain't givin' this hare back. it's mine so back off. she hissed through bared teeth.
but please ,, be helpful and point me in the direction of quartzclan. if yer even know what it is. she added on in her same threatening voice. keeping a safe distance ,, white diamond calmly sat down.

aye ,, wake yerself up. the paw kept prodding him. opening his eyes white diamond saw yellow citrine standing over him. yawning ,, the tom sat himself up ,, quickly noticing the jewel hanging around yellow citrines neck. it was a yellow jewel ,, a citrine. then it dawned upon white diamond that he had fallen asleep outside the tunnel waiting for yellow citrine. embarrassing.
