"houndstar! intruders! intruders!" the brash voice of frostpaw woke the slumbering tom, and he scrambled out of his den, calling the clan to him. "where, frostpaw?" he growled, tail lashing, hackles raised. the muscular molly padded up to him. "right there, houndstar! how could you not see them?" frostpaw pointed with her tail, and houndstar's eyes followed the gesture to land upon a weary pale orange tom, next to a scared tortoiseshell kit. houndstar cuffed the apprentice on the ear, and she screeched in response. "houndstar! i've never seen them here before!" houndstar scoffed. "frostpaw, this is sunsong," he said, gesturing to the orange tom. he dipped his head in response. "greetings, houndstar," he said, walking forward and nudging the kit along with him. "i have the pleasure to report that the war with cloudclan is going in skyclan's favour. one of the raid patrols was successful, and skystar gave me... us this kit as a payment for our contribution. her name is hazelkit." houndstar padded forwards and sniffed the kit, and the little molly shrunk into her pelt. "and what if cloudclan demands this kit back?" houndstar inquired, raising his head. sunsong gulped. "we'll have to accept that as a possibility, sir, but if cloudclan does decide to take this kit back, we will not give her to them willingly. our alliance with skyclan, swiftclan, and lilyclan is stronger now, because of the war, so i have no doubt that we will recieve help, if we ever go to battle." houndstar nodded, seeming to accept this as an answer. "will you return home, sunsong?" the orange tom shook his head. "no sir, i am to be back at the camp by sunset. i will return once skyclan is victorious."

wickerfur padded into the nursery, watching over willowfeather as she slept. the queen was a light sleeper, especially with her kits due any day, and she snapped awake. "wickerfur," she mumbled, rather weary. "what brings you here at this time of day?" wickerfur shrugged. "despite the... secret you shared with me, i am still your shaman, and therefore required to check in on you. are you sleeping well?" willowfeather shook her head. "i'd sleep better if i wasn't in this starclan-forsaken nursery," she hissed, turning over on her side. "great starclan, i want these kits to be born now," she whined. wickerfur's gaze was hard. "that is not why i have come here," he said, gazing down at the expecting she-cat. "i just wanted to make sure that you remember our promise, and that you will keep it." willowfeather nodded. "yes, wickerfur. i will remember." the shaman looked at her once more before turning away. "good. break it, and i tell houndstar." willowfeather watched him leave. i must thank starclan that i didn't tell him about sootshade.

"houndstar?" alpinenose and aspengaze trotted up to their leader as he was sitting on the highrock. he glanced down at them, then ran down the stone. "did something of interest happen?" the tom inquired, sitting back on his haunches. the siblings glanced at each-other. "yes, sir." aspengaze murmured, glancing at her paws. the leader was beginning to get impatient. "well, what is it?" he growled, and his clanmates flinched. "we, uh, found the scent of an echoclan she-cat inside the eastern border." "what?" houndstar yowled, getting to his paws. "this is unacceptable. who was with her?" alpinenose shook his head. "i have no idea, sir. all adderclan cats have the same scent." houndstar bared his teeth. "find the cat that has been interacting with this she-cat. once you find them, tell me, and i swear to starclan, i will kill them."

Leaf-Bare

Weather:

The trees have become bare, and the days have grown short. The air is cold and crisp and the sky is cloudy. It won't be long till the snow begins to fall now, prey has now become scarce as they are tucked inside a nice warm den of their own. Predators and stray cats are also less likely as well as they try to brace the season themselves.

Starclan has heard Swiftstar and sent a worthy medicine cat. You can choose five herbs from here to start.
The loner agrees only if their sibling can join as well.
(You don't usually have to ask the loner to join. Once a cat has been linked to the reply you can have them join immediately.

Territory

BloomClan lives deeply in the dark cedar forest. These cats live near marshes and large bodies of water, causing most of the the dirt to be more muddy. Maple, cedar, and hickory trees stand high above the ground. Tall, flat rocks are scattered around in-side the borders, great for battle practice and great for sunbathing.

BloomClan's camp is a decent size, surrounded by thick protection of large tightly packed ferns, brambles, and thickets. The camp is in a gorge, the only way out is a steep, rocky slope. The medicine cat den is just beside the nursery, its the lowest hole in the wall, a little stream of water resides at the far back, herbs are neatly stacked between cracks. A crack in the eastern wall, stores all the prey safely.

BloomClan's connection to starclan, its a wide spread stream, the surface is silvery and velvety lookin'. The water is very cool, and frosty. The surface shimmers and shines.

The Rushing Reeds is a shallow, just deep enough to swim, stream flowing through camp. Newer baby cherry trees line the edges, its a great place for kits or young apprentices to learn how to swim, how to climb, how to fish in the proper way. Elders like to sun themselves in the saplings when sunhigh rolls around.

The training place for apprentices is a large sandy area, thick trunks line the edges, the land is a bit marshy, apprentices are advised to be careful when training.

Nature and Reputation

BloomClanners are almost unhealthy in love with kits, they hold up there beliefs to a high standers when it comes to queens, kits, and elders. Most of the population are usually shy and timid, but sometimes cats can be snarky and abrasive, sometimes even getting in fights with there timid counterparts. Kits are mostly over-curious, causing many problems for the queens caring for them. BloomClanners are natural thin and have thin fur, most have long legs and tails, good for leaping up trees for climbing. It's in there nature to climb anything and everything, or cool down in waters.

Common prey is Voles, Frogs, Mice, and Small Fish.
Uncommon prey is Squirrels, Birds, and Erimes
Rare prey is Big Fish and Hares/rabbits

padding into camp with their catch, stormcall and willowstar dumped the hare in their fresh kill pile. with the days getting colder prey was more scarce. hunting was hard since most of the prey hid within their dens to protect themselves from the cold. for this reason willowstar was glad that there were only two cats to feed, more mouths would probably end in starvation. stormcall felt opposite of this though. she wanted more cats in the clan because she felt that an extra set of claws meant more prey could be caught.

sitting down, the she-cat looked around the camp. the tall grass that was once there has now withered away. the ground was covered in frost, and the willow trees looked sadder than ever. she figured thats why they were called weeping willow trees, the tended to look sad. looking to willowstar she purred. over the last moon the two cats had gotten close, but thats just what happens when youre alone with another cat, but willowstar seemed to just think of her as a friend. do you want to share this hare with me? stormcall looked to willowstar as he asked the question. stormcall answered, of course! bringing the hare over to stormcall, willowstar shared the prey with her.

once they were done eating the sun had already set and the moon was beginning to rise. willowstar headed to the leaders den while stormcall curled up in the warriors den. in the morning when the two cats were up and starting their day willowstar instructed stormcall to mark their territory. bounding off willowstar went on a hunting patrol. for now it was willowstars job to hunt and stormcalls job to patrol.

“So, you’re not exactly holy yourself, huh sis?”
FirePelt flicked her tail in response. She refused to look EmberFoot in the eye, and instead shuffled her feet. “I didn’t for it to come to this... he’s not even a Clan cat.”
EmberFoot nodded. “I know. See? The Coans don’t know everything.” He paused as he watched FirePelts tail flick in annoyance. “Hey, if you’d like, I can try to see what I can do for you.”
FirePelt just shook her head. “It’s bad enough how it is. Just leave it be.”
EmberFoot sighed. For some reason, he couldn’t accept that.
He walked away from the Nursery, and found his apprentice sitting by the fresh-kill pile.
“WhitePaw! I’ve got a fun lesson for you today!”
WhitePaw, eyes bright and wide, skipped over to her mentor. “Yes EmberFoot?” She was always excited to train.
EmberFoot smiled. She would make a wonderful Warrior someday. “I want you to help me do some tracking.”
WhiteFoot took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. “Okay. I can do it.”
“I know.”

FlickerClaw, newly introduced to the Clan, found he was quickly adjusting to the duties he had to fulfill. With not many cats yet, he wasn’t too worried about keeping everyone in-line.
“FlickerClaw!”
The deputy turned his head to see RowanStar walking to him, beckoning him.
“Yes?”
“Let’s go for a hunt and discuss the history of this small Clan.”
FlickerClaw smiled. A break would be nice.

MudWhisker found himself in a tizzy trying to get ready to have new kits in the Clan, especially in Leaf-Fall. He was wary of FirePelts pregnancy, especially since he hadn’t an idea of who the father was. But he also supposed it wasn’t his business.
All he could do was go out and look for herbs.

A gust of wind hit Littlepaw's face. Leaffall was coming closer to Leafbare. The apprentice sworn he also seen a few snowflakes had danced around the area; frost clung on to the leaves with frozen droplets of water. He remembered all the forest-fire colored leaves that covered the floor that now looked as if a flock of crude eagles had dropped their goods to rot. 'Bland' all the apprentice could think, this was truly a dreadful transition to Leafbare.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Littlepaw swiveled his head back, "Are you serious? It looks like bears took a dump on the forest!" Flurrystorm chuckled, a wide grin of excitement plastered on his face "Maybe it does now, but it'all be covered by the white snow soon enough!" The cream-colored apprentice shivered at the thought "doesn't sound so great to me." his mentor shrugged "We'll do some patrols while were out here, what do you smell?" the cream-colored tom made his way to his mentor's side than tasted the air, a mixture of strong scents hit him. He took another sniff being replying: "the scent of mouse, and a mildly salty scent" he reported. The older tom nodded "that salty scent is from Skyclan, they're a feisty bunch, and stubborn as ever." The apprentice laughed "I guess ill talk about the neighboring clans while were at it." The older tom thought of the names, "oh. There is Cherryclan, nicest cats you'll ever meet, that's what I've heard of." The mentor thought a little longer "there is Tempestclan and Swiftclan. Swiftclan are understanding cats, pretty generous too, they gave us the rabbits. Tempestclan is somewhat prideful of themselves, at least what I heard of.. they don't start up drama so we'll be good. Oh, and about Skyclan and Swiftclan, apparently they're both in a war with Cloudclan. I'd stay away from their territories for now if I were you." Littlepaw gathered all the information in his head than nodded "Can we do our patrols now? I'm hungry as an eagle right now!" The younger tom exclaimed, "Same here, lets get this wrapped up and head back to camp."

Oliverstar had found a small bird and some clean moss while on her hunting patrol, yet had failed to run into any loners that might be willing to be part of PebbleClan. She figured that Splashpelt would run into the same kind of luck, yet was surprised to find that the camp was empty when she came back. Surely Splashpelt would have returned by now? Heading towards the newly formed freshkill pile, Olivestar dropped the bird down into it and wiggled her way into the Leader's Den. The moss that had been tucked under her chin was now released as the she-cat began to assemble her nest, using a few feathers from the bird she had caught earlier to make it more plush. As she did so, her paw struck something that was buried just under the sand. Carefully, she dug up a small, round pebble the size of her paw. It had five claw marks engraved on the surface, claw marks that were definitely made from a cat. Why would a cat scratch onto the surface of a pebble? Curious, Olivestar picked up the pebble in her mouth and headed over to the Medicine Cat's den, shuffling around in the sand until she found another buried pebble, this one with three claw marks going through it. Setting the pebble in her mouth down, she headed into the next empty den and found several pebbles, most of them with two claw marks in the center. Yet, one had four marks. Slowly but surely, Olivestar began to realize that the marks represented the ranks in the clan. "The four marks must belong to the Deputy..normal warriors would only have two claw marks, with the Medicine Cat having three. The Leader, of course, would have five marks. This must have been the warriors den." She muttered to herself, heading into the next den and finding pebbles with only one engraving on them, hinting that she was in the Apprentice Den. In the final den, she found a pebble with two claw marks, and three tiny pebbles left untouched. These must be for kits..But why do they just bury their pebbles in the sand?
Heading out of the den, Olivestar's eyes landed on the pebble wall that surrounded the camp, and she headed up to it cautiously, eyes widening as she realized each pebble had a different number of clawmarks on it, all for different cats. There were several pebbles here for different Medicine Cats, Leaders, and normal warriors. "These cats are all in StarClan now..Their clanmates set their pebble on the wall after they died, isn't that right?" In response to her question, a gentle breeze ruffled her fur. "Then..why were all the other pebbles buried in the sand?" She asked, turning around to look back at the dens. Her stomach sank as she realized the truth of the matter - when the flood that destroyed PebbleClan in the past came through, it took all lives. There was no one left to stack up the pebbles.
Over the next hour, Oliverstar carefully gathered up all the pebbles she could find buried away in the dens, and stacked them up around the wall that circled the camp. Her heart was heavy as she stacked the pebbles of kits, apprentices, and elders. When she finished, the she-cat looked up at the sky to see the first star of the night, twinkling brightly as though to praise the leader for keeping such a sacred tradition alive.
"I will make you proud, PebbleClan will rise up and be stronger than ever before."
Ears twitching, Olivestar heard faint voices making their way closer and closer to the camp. One of them she recognized as Splashpelt, but the other was entirely unfamiliar. Staying still for a few moments, the she-cat watched as Splashpelt entered the camp with a large, silver tom following. The two she-cats locked eyes, and Olivestar padded over to the newcomer with interest, making sure to hold her head high in authority. "Splashpelt, do we have a visitor?" She asked, watching as the black and white she-cat sat down with a patient flick of her tail. "Lets hope not, Olivestar. This is a loner I ran into while on patrol, he had a thorn stuck in his paw..and well, I'll let him tell the rest."
Feeling the intense stare of the cat known as Olivestar, the tom sat down to appear less of a threat. "Splashpelt saw me struggling to get the thorn out of my paw without making it worse, and she managed to take it out and wrap it up with cobwebs. I've never seen a cat heal another before, so I asked her where she learned and she told me all about PebbleClan. I know it's still new, but I'd like to try and become a warrior."
Olivestar listened to him carefully, and cast a questioning glance towards Splashpelt, who nodded in response. With that, the leader hopped up on the Leader's den and looked down at the gray tom. "I, Olivestar, leader of PebbleClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this tom. He had shown interest in becoming a warrior, and would like to be part of this magnificent Clan." She paused, eyes narrowing. "Do you promise to uphold the warrior code to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?"
The tom thought about these words for a few moments, and hen nodded. "I promise."
"From this moment on you will be known as Jayfrost. StarClan honors your desire to be part of this clan, and I know you will make them proud."
Hoping down from the large beaver den, Olivestar touched her nose to Jayfrost's, giving him a warm smile. "Welcome to the PebbleClan. Lets share this bird and then head out on some patrols."

Next Moon-Pool visit December 9th

After a grueling and long labor, Conch welcomed her four kits into the clan. Without their father to greet them, the clan took his place and came to greet the mewling lumps of fur. As Conch glanced at the four, she noticed that Burnkit's distinct brown fur could only belong to her father, Sootshade. She winced, sadness rushing through her like a tsunami against a beach. Pushing aside bitter feelings, she gently lapped the top of her small head, stroking her rusted brown fur. The other three looked more like Conch, with their silver, cream, and white fur; and although that was comforting... she wondered if Burnkit would always feel different.
"May I come in?" Came Reefstar's honey-like voice, and a certain pleasure rushed through her.
"Of course," Conch responded.

Pearlheart stepped out of the fronds, leaving the shadowy warrior's den behind her. She lightly stepped over to the apprentice's den, calling for Orcapaw. The young tom immediately leapt up, circled around his mentor and cheerily meowed, "The hunting patrol with Reefstar! I almost forgot. Let's go Pearlheart! I can't believe you let me sleep in so late!"
"You do have a way of making me feel old, Orcapaw. It's only dawn, the day has barely begun. Now come on, let's see if Reefstar is ready."

Orcapaw's pads pricked with excitement as he followed his rather beautiful mentor toward the nursery, where Reefstar had disappeared to visit Conch's kit. Poking his head inside the fronds that sheltered the entrance, he called, "Are these your kits, Reefstar? How come none of them look like you?"

Reefstar awkwardly glanced at Conch, then to the eager apprentice. "These are not my kits. Are you ready to go for the hunting patrol? Wait by the entrance, then!" The black tom ordered briskly, though his eyes were warm with admiration for the young cat. Looking back at Conch he gently touched his nose to her ear and left the den, following Pearlheart and Orcapaw out of camp.
