I don't know if this is the right place to post it but I was wondering how people colour so neatly because I really don't get how people colour and I have to use the fill tool to colour mine and I was wondering how everyone else does it?

This is an easy to fix problem.
1.Find the layer with the fill in! (Lets say the outlines or lines are on one layer and the white or gray fill of the creature is on another. )
2. Select 'Lock Alpha' (it's in the layers window of oekaki. Right below the brush settings.)
3. This means that the layer that you checked 'lock alpha' on is the only layer you can draw on.

Try it out even if you don't understand.

I did, but I can make a drawing as example too, but you'll need to wait little bit more for it. xP

Add all the layers you want (Background, Color, Lines, etc...And draw lines!), take different colored pen/brush than the background and fill in the place inside of the lines. After you did that, you can click lock alpha button (When color layer is selected.) and careless go all over the place (Actually, you can color without going outside the lines.).
