Happy birthday!! I know how lonely it can be. I moved to another country several years ago, so no longer have friends from my childhood, or any family from my side where I live. I only have my husband's family (has ridiculous drama), friends (are they?), and the friends we made together (also barely see).
My dad and step-dad both passed away within months of each other extremely shortly after I had my first baby, so they never got to meet my newborn.
I'm trying to convince my mom to move to me, but she's being stubborn about switching countries.
My birthday is coming up on the 29, so we can be birthday month buddies!

I sort of understand how you're feeling regarding it though, I have been feeling similar stuff over the years. So I too have been quite overwhelmed since my partner and my mother in law started to truly care about my birthday and making it important ... I'm still not used to it since I've lived more than half my life believing it's nothing special and that I personally started to dislike birthdays after I became a teenager.
