Artist Search"Welcome to the breeding center! I assume if you're here you've already gotten your application in for a foundie and gotten some trained echobi's under your belt. Which will be required to be here of course, as breeding echobi's isn't exactly a safe process for the unfamiliar. If you have any questions let me know, otherwise, take your time to read through all our rules and regulations posted around the grounds. There's a couple different staff members floating around that can help you get started as long as they have the spare time. If not just hang around for a bit, socialize, check out our public studs and broodmares perhaps, whatever your heart desires! Just..don't turn your back to any echobi you don't know here. Seriously. Don't."
How To & What Do?- Artists will post here when they are opening up breeding slots
- Artists may do this for free or charge any form of payment they wish
- Free pups cannot be sold, pups made via paid breedings can be sold for however much you deem fit
- Do not request breedings or ask when breedings will be open here but feel free to go to our
discord if things seem slow
- Artists may accept or decline any breedings requests they wish for whatever reason
- Artists may decline trait request options if they see fit at any time for any reason
- Only V5 or transferred echobis can be bred to other V5/transferred echobis- Previous version echobi's can be bred together from whichever version(s), but all offspring will be sterile if the parents aren't transferred first
- Only echobis trained to Tier 2, customs, and foundies can be bred (information on training and transfers
here- V5 echobis have four breeding slots
- Bred pups are breedable one week (seven full days) after their creation date
- Inbreeding of any form is not acceptable and keeping track of family lines is considered extremely important
- Only male x female pairings can be bred- Only one pup will be produced per breeding
- Sex is randomly generated
- Edits pass at artist's discretion
- Rough coat is dominant (rough coated x smooth coated = rough coated always)
- Number of tail spikes is genetic and will be the median number of the parents if either has altered spikes
- Barring will be a combination of the parents in some way
- Paint/dye/accessories do not pass
- Chimeric coats, somatic marks, and vitiligo are common and requestable
- Artists will usually attempt to help you 'line breed' for specific traits via the requests option (ie; request= "I am breeding for thicker barring" =artist thickens barring on the resulting pup compared to it's parents, keep requesting it each time you breed from that line and you'll get super thick barring on later generations - same applies to any request)
- Pups born with solid barless coats are sterile and often blind/deaf and/or have visual differences such as missing limbs, oddly shaped eyes, crinkled ears, extra toes, or crooked teeth; this is requestable
- You may mark this page at any time regardless of current openings
Breeding Item DescriptionsRainbow Vial: Breeding item that allows succesful same sex breedings between two males or two females.
Licorice Root: Breeding item that grants a 50% chance of producing twins. Item is used up even if it fails. Cannot be stacked.
Public Studs & BroodmaresThese echobis are owned by the Direwood Foundation and can be used by the public without any permissions needed. They will eventually be retired and placed in pet homes once they have produced enough pups for the community.
To use them, simply note 'Direwood Owned' under the 'Permissions' section of your breeding application.
Artist's will usually cover the cost if they are offering free breedings, otherwise, there is a fee of 50C$/$1 for each breeding (to be sent to ShadyBro for dispersion to staff upon your breeding request being chosen by an artist).
