With the basement of critters cleaned up, you find yourself curious about the dark spaces and decide to take a closer look. Those horror movie tropes obviously taught you nothing about minding your own business when faced with an unfamiliar space. It didn’t look too scary down here to begin with, especially with half the place splashed in paint much to Flicker’s dismay. Wandering aimlessly, you pass several shelves and boxes of knick knacks, nothing too interesting. So much for a curious peek into- hey wait! What’s this? Someone’s feathered tail creeps out of a crack in the wall, staring at you. Yes, staring. There’s a whole eyeball nestled between the feathers, and suddenly you’re uneasy.

Seven wrote:If you’re as helpful as you look… I could use your assistance.
You hesitate but reach up to dislodge the tail from the crack. Before you could, however, a larger eyeball partially concealed in wings poked around a hidden corner.
Seven wrote:The tail is fine. The aid I require is in here. This way. Around the corner.
Another bout of hesitation keeps you grounded a moment, proof common sense does exist with you. The eye is unblinking, but rotates repeatedly towards the space it seems to be coaxing you into. A light shuffle toes you closer, at least to have a peep around the corner, and gauge how good of an idea it would be to follow this entity.
A few raptors were gathered together in this hidden back room, threading needles and hobbling odd looking parts around. Similar to Frankenstein’s lab, there were large claws, spindly tails, a couple horns, and other bits and pieces of what could be hashed together to create some fantastic beast.
Seven wrote:There’s an old warehouse past the pumpkin patch and cornfields… a big wide building with more of these parts to build new raptors with. We’re much too small to make the journey back and forth so many times.
You open your mouth to point out you’re approximately the same size as everyone else in the room, and don’t have wings, but the strange being continues.
Seven wrote:The warehouse has a machine with buttons, but it’s rather inconsistent. You won’t always get the parts you’re looking for. A new raptor takes six to build. You’ll need your basics. A pair of horns, a head, a body, arms, legs, and a tail will be enough to throw the switch and raise a new creation. Doubles? They’ll certainly happen, don’t be discouraged… A consistent traveler is a more successful traveler. Now! Make haste, you can take the stairs there to the backyard… then follow the setting sun till the warehouse devours it from the sky.
Seven scoops you in its wing, placing you at the base of the stairs, the sky above the thrown open wooden doors a burning red and orange. Unfortunately these parts don’t collect themselves. Good luck, traveler!

Guidelines:
This game is strictly luck and RNG based, if you find yourself often frustrated with mechanics like these, this is not the activity for you! Not everyone will win here, this is dependent on your consistency and what the RNG pulls for you.
1) You are allowed to make the journey once a day to collect a monster part from the warehouse.
2) New days begin at CS rollover, not 24 hours from your last post.
3) The hour before rollover, results from the previous day will be posted. This hour is a buffer period and any posts made in this hour will not be counted! Even if results are posted early in that hour, you are still unable to post for the new day until rollover has occurred!
4) For clarity, posting period is open from 5 PM PST (8PM EST) to 4 PM PST (7 PM EST) the following day. In which 4 PM to 5 PM is the buffer period for results to be posted for the previous day. If results are posted at 4:25 PM, you still must wait the 35 minutes till 5 PM for open posting!
5) I will be sure to announce if and when results will be delayed, this should not affect scheduled posting times.
6) To win a raptor, you must collect all six parts to make one, this includes a pair of horns, a head, a body, arms, legs, and a tail.
7) Double parts you collect can not be traded for double parts another player has, this game is intended to only have a few winners!
8) You will not have to keep track of the parts you own, lists of your collections will be kept track of behind the scenes. You are welcome to keep track for your own sanity if you wish, however!
9) Collecting all six parts will prompt you to send a palette of choice so your new creation can get a desired paint job. Palettes can be sent on thread or in a DM.
10) Once you win a raptor, you can no longer collect parts, as you’ve redeemed all you can from this game!
Please see the Frankenraptor base below. This is the only base redeemable in this game and is exclusive to this game alone. They will not be open for bribes or recolors or raffled in any way in the future to prevent feeling the game is worthless to participate in.

*This game will run a total of two weeks, from October 15th to October 29th. If you participate every day, that’s 14 attempts to find all 6 parts!

Only post the following form once every day. New days begin with every CS rollover. The hour before rollover is a buffer period and any posts made in that hour will be ignored!
