─ ✦ FORAGING!
Welcome to the Foraging Outpost! The expeditions here are overseen by
the adventuring captain, Flint! ... When he's around. He's promised to
come back once a week to lead foraging expeditions, I suppose you'll just
have to keep an eye out for him?

Foraging is currently on break for a while - we may be looking for someone
to help run it in the near future, please keep an eye out if that is something
you would be interested in!

─ ✦ HOW DOES IT WORK?
Here you can join Flint on his expeditions to gather forageables!

Each week on Saturday he'll return to the outpost, and you can choose a location to go to during the week once he sets off again! He'll return the next Saturday, which is when you'll get your travel log - the summary of all the things your Poris collected while they were out! Once the travel logs are posted, you can sign up for the next week's expedition until rollover Sunday -> Monday. So on, so forth!

Any forageables or critters you find will be added to your bank by the time the travel logs are posted, and once you collect enough of them you can use your forageables to craft accessories and clothes with Steele in their shop!

─ ✦ FORAGING LOCATIONS
There are currently four locations to choose from! They each have different
probabilities for what you might find, and more may be added in the future.
You can choose one location to forage in per expedition, and can take up to
three Poripuffs! (The amount of Poris you take won't effect your results, it's
just for fun :] )

Named after the sporadic flurries of
snow that pass through during the
colder times of the year, the Flurryfields
are wide stretches of open plains that
bloom with an abundance of stardrop
flowers almost year-round.

One of the most popular places to visit
on-planet, Sunbeam Beach sports the
beautiful sight of waves, and sand that
is rumoured to glitter like gems when
the sun sets in the evenings. It's the
favourite hangout of many wosha!

The highest point on Planet Pori, a
towering mountain littered with caves
and ruins. A particularly bright star
is often positioned in the sky above it,
granting the mountain its name - along
with the rumour that you could touch it.

Parts of the planet seem much less
gravitationally-inclined than others.
The Jumpacross Isles litter a large part
of the planet, and due to the weaker
gravity many people choose to quite
literally jump across them!

"Hah? Oh, the critters 'round here? Naaah don't you worry, any
beastie you find won't hurt'cha! Some of them'll even follow
you around, they're friendly little guys! I made my own sorta
guide for what you might find, even made a note of the kinds
of things Steele looks for! Have a look!"

Bink
These little mischief makers can be found all
over the Jumpacross Isles - they love to race
each other through the clouds, which get
attached to their fur!

Hoppal
Hoppals love showing off their unique gem
crests to each other - and to passing foragers,
reflections, foliage... Just about anything they
can find, actually.


Kitite
It's not uncommon to be surprised by a Kitite
dropping out of a tree on your walk. They've
only got little legs, so they take to jumping
off high places to glide around instead!

Omno
Omno can't usually see very well, which can
lead to a bit of a shock when one bumps into
you! ... Fortunately, their skin is actually quite
rubbery, so it doesn't hurt much.


Tweepy
These birds are often found in groups of three
or four, pressed together in whatever hidey-hole
they can find. You can tell that one is napping
somewhere by the signature 'tweeweewee' sound.

Wosha
The Sunbeam Beach is a favourite hangout of
any Wosha, you can always find some playing
on the sand! They curl their flat tails around
themselves and roll around in the surf.

The currency used on-planet!
Always useful.
