"Beans" is our primary currency. Beans can be bought for c$ or pets, and found during foraging and conformation shows. Beans are used to purchase items from the market, including new imported bannochi and breedings!



"Shiny Beans" cannot be bought for anything other than foraging materials. They can be earned through showing, foraging, and special events. Shiny Beans are infused with magic and can be used to create mutations. These will be new genetic traits (either physical traits, coat varieties, colors, or patterns) that will be added to bannochi.

❧ SHINY BEANS

Shiny beans are rare, magically infused beans that are highly sought after by bannochi researchers. Something in them contains the ingredients necessary to make the bannochi genome malleable, allowing specialized bannochi breeders to create new colors, patterns, and traits!

EARNING SHINY BEANS

Shiny beans can be collected via three methods:
• winning BIS or RBIS in the weekly conformation show
  
• as a legendary drop during foraging
• trading foraging material
You can buy shiny beans for 25 foraging material. Any non-bean item found via foraging counts.

SPENDING SHINY BEANS

You will automatically receive one custom (gold import) bannochi sporting your new trait when spending shiny beans.

All traits created via shiny beans will become regularly available within the game.


• NEW COLOR: 5x
  adding a new dilution or color modifier that creates a new base color for bannochi, typically effecting either black pigment or red pigment
• NEW PATTERN: 10x
  a new pattern of red/black pigment such as a new agouti, exotic agouti, or mask pattern OR a new "colorpoint" pattern/dilution
• NEW WHITE MARK: 10x
  a new white pattern or an alteration to a currently existing white pattern
• NEW PHYSICAL TRAIT: 20x
  a new ear type, tail type, horn type, or hair texture
• NEW VARIETY: 50x
  a new hair pattern or significant enough change to the line art that the bannochi would be considered a whole new variety

Shiny bean spend forms will need to be approved before implemented. Sometimes ideas need to be tweaked or adjusted to fit Bannochi! Bughnrahk will contact you via PM or discord message for further details.

Bannochi traits should be based on real world animals as much as possible. More fantastic elements (such as the halloween exclusive "haunted" white mark) can be requested provided they follow CS rules.

Flowers can be collected through foraging, rather than purchased. Flowers can be traded when handing in an import form to request certain traits to further customize any level of import. Any number of different flowers can be used with an import form, but keep an eye out for incompatible combinations! (eg. a bannochi cannot be both harlequin and schimmel, so trading a gold blossom and a harlequin blossom won't work)
