This thread is a hub for artists to store their custom info, post when they are opening customs/recolors, and for users to post their custom requests when a slot is open.

Custom: a special base created just for the user. It will not be re-used. There are no limits to edits, but artist may or may not choose a level of complexity that they are comfortable with.
Recolor: a pre-used base from this list. Users will receive a custom design, but the lines will not be unique to them. Artists may use their own lines or other artist's lines that allow it. Edits to that base may or may not be allowed, depending on what the artist is offering in that opening and if the other artist allows edits to their base.
Breeding: Artists can also offer breedings in their custom post. There are no baby lines; raptor offspring are designed on the same lines. The exact type (# of parents or offspring, if the offspring have edits or the parents' base, etc.) will be up to the artist. Offspring have the same trading cooldown as customs - 2 weeks. They also cannot be bred before this time.

• Do not post a custom request unless an artist has opened slots.
• Customs may not be based off of copyright characters/content (ie: Pokémon). Taking vague influence is okay, but direct copying or very close imitation is not allowed.
• Complaining about prices, missing openings, an artist not choosing your custom, etc. will not be tolerated.
• Read any artist-specific rules/guidelines before applying for their slots. They may only be accepting recolors, doing fcfs, chosen forms, etc.
• Designs that are transferred onto our base with intent to still use the original or other species' design (ie: having an alt raptor version of a specific character) cannot be traded/gifted separate from the design as a whole. Designs that are transferred onto our base, without continuing to use the previous design, will be considered normal raptors and may be traded/gifted (the original design cannot be used again separate from that raptor). In both cases, the original artist of the design must be okay with transfers.
• You may only order and receive a maximum of 5 customs/recolors/offspring in any single calendar month. This includes paid customs/recolors/offspring only, not batches, giveaways, etc. The date will go by when the artist IDs your Nuisance Raptor. You may not attempt to get around this in ways such as "saving" them for next month.

Welcome to my Customs Page!
Below, you’ll find all the information you’ll need to know about how I’ll run my customs shop for nuisance raptors. Please follow my guidelines for the best experience with me as a custom artist, I promise I don’t bite but I’ll refuse requests that break emblo’s or my personal guidelines.

Q&A Section:

How fast can I get my custom/recolor?
Depending on the complexity, same day to a week. I generally work very fast and won’t leave a request to rot long!

Do you offer WIPs for customs?
Yes! I will send the red line edits for approval so you know exactly what you’re going to get by the end. I’m a transparent artist, feel free to ask for coloring WIPs at any point too.

Can I order multiple customs or recolors at once?
I’ll only allow 1 custom and 1 recolor at a time per user, so you can only occupy two slots at one time. This allows other users to get a spot when I’m open. You can’t order more than 1 custom or 1 recolor at a time, but you can order 1 each at the same time.

Are you FCFS? Bribes? Selective? How do you choose forms?
When I open shop, I’ll make sure to state how I’m selecting requests and how many requests I’m taking. I won’t make it confusing, I’ll be very clear how I’m selecting forms each and every time.

I’ll have 3 options available, customs, recolors and pairing (NEW!)

Customs will be more expensive because they require personal edits that make a raptor personal to you! This requires a full list of edits or a full description of what exactly you’re hoping to see edit wise. For example: “I want a weasel raptor” is too vague while “Weasel raptor with rounded ears, longer body, longer fluffy tail, an extra pair of legs, and a shorter snout.” is much better and gives me an idea for what’s wanted. I will not accept custom requests that are: too vague, based on preexisting characters in media (per emblo’s rules), or break CS rules (so no gore, weird content, etc.)
For customs, I am willing to do a range of edits, from simple to complex. You should be reasonable and call a design request complex when there are more than 2 large edits involved (manes, tails, head shape, body shape, wing changes, limb edits, edits that involve over 50% of an original base change). Simple edits involve things like claws, teeth, spines, joint fur tufts, etc. the little things! If you aren’t sure if your request falls in simple or complex, assume it is complex! At this time I won’t be offering “from scratch” lines, I will always start from a default base and apply your list of custom edits from there.

Recolor requests are simpler. Just pick a base from the base archive and provide a palette or moodboard or song (NEW!) for a recolor. If any edits to that base are involved it becomes a custom, recolor requests are strictly one base recolors. I won’t be editing a base for a recolor so make sure if you want edits made to a base, you’re using my customs form instead! Also be sure to check that other artists allow recolors on their bases before picking one out!

Pairings!(NEW!)
Pairings (more widely known as breedings) just means pairing two existing raptors together to form raptors with mixed lines, colors and markings from the parents! Pairings can be done with one user and their two owned raptors, or two users that agree to mutually contribute one raptor each (payment is up to raptor owners along with how the babies will be distributed). Payment will vary depending on the requested number of resulting raptors, line edit combos, and complexity of the parent raptors.

(CURRENTLY OFFERING A $25 BUNDLE FOR A BREEDING WITH 2 EDITED BABIES)

Each new raptor will have a base price of:
- 200 C$
- 2 VR or 1 ER

This means 2 babies doubles that price, 3 babies triple, and 4 babies quadruple. I am capping each breeding at 4 possible offspring.

Additional fees include base edits and initial parent complexity. Please note! Some bases are closed by artists and are not available to be combined or edited as a result of breeding, please double check the base your parent raptors are on so you understand if they are eligible for breeding edits or not!

Babies requested with random parent bases, and zero new edits have no edit fee.

Babies requested with preexisting pairing bases (see my edited bases thread near the bottom) are also without edit fees. The pairing base must match the parent raptors you’re applying for to validate this! Example: you can’t pair a bat and ghost raptor and ask for a punkimatronic base. This is nonsensical. You must pay for any new pairing base I make with below options.

Base edits:

One time fee, not charged per baby = All babies are presented in a single combined base edit, all babies have the same edits made with no line combo variations between them. Ordering one baby automatically defaults to this as there can be no varying line edits without siblings present.

Per baby fee, all resulting babies have a unique base line combo presented with each one having different traits from both parents. Guarantees unique babies. Only applies to orders with multiple babies. Refer to above if ordering one baby.

Complexity Fees, one time, not per baby: complex raptors present as full customs, have very specific markings involved, have hard to replicate designs, or clash in compatibility so that colors aren’t easily matched.
