- You must have the required Meat amount in order to purchase an item. If you aren't sure on your current Meat amount, check with Town Hall!

- This thread is for purchasing and selling items only. Use "The Dressing Room" in order to apply items.

- Ensure you are using the correct form when buying and selling items as we use the specific search codes in order to keep Town Hall up to date!

- You do not need item purchase or sale forms to be confirmed by a staff member. A staff member will instead post periodically that the Town Hall has been updated with all required information, new inventories, new Fridge stock (Bank balances) etc previous to the staff members post.

What The Hell Is Meat?


^ That's meat. It's what Beardogs eat. It's also their primary "currency" or barter option. And where does the meat come from you might ask? Oh, you know. Meat Factory.
How do I earn Meat?

The primary way to earn Meat is by completing Tasks and Missions, and/or sending Beardogs out Exploring. There is currently no way to buy Meat.

As you enter the large, bustling Butcher Shop, a gruff looking Beardog behind the counter catches your eye. She moves her large meat cleaver with... impressive dexterity. Is it warm in here or is it just you?

When you finally manage to squeeze to the front of the queue, her head jerks up and her tired eyes meet yours. "What are yer looking at?" she grumps and twirls the knife until her paw is resting over the backside. Dangerous!

A singsong sweet voice calls something you don't catch from out the back of the shop. "Ugh," Butcher sighs and offers what might pass a smile if her eyes weren't so dead. "Hi. What can I get you?" Uh-oh. Customer service voice... Maybe you should just get what you came for and leave...

Second in popularity only to the Butcher's is Stuff And Things. Aptly named for it having well... you know. Stuff... and also things. As you enter you're nearly bowled over by a giant, exhausted looking Beardog.

"Ah," he greets, voice warm as he tips his cap. "Don't reckon I've ever seen ya 'round here before. Or maybe I have. Have I? No, don't answer that. It don't matter. I'm Omid. Welcome ta Stuff'N'Things. Need any help? No? Ya good. Good. If ya need me I'll be over there--" he gestures with his snout toward the checkout.

"Should check out me wife's store while ya here. Unless she's run outta stock--" he tapers off, standing on his haunches to look over the shelving toward the other half of the store. "Oop. Looks like she needs help. Call out if ya need any yaself. Oh and uh, if ya need to try things on or wanna swap out what ya wearing, head on out back to the Dressing Room!"

Just as quickly as you can blink, you find yourself off the beaten path and in a far more... well, dark neighborhood. Literally so. The towers that are otherwise beacons of commerce seem to shroud this entire ward in shadow. You feel several sets of eyes on you as you pass loitering bands of Beardogs and with a bit of an anxious leap of your heart, you dart into the nearest open store.

Mistake. A gnarly looking Beardog looks up from behind the counter. His eyes thin, mouth curling up into a wicked kind of smile. "Well, well. What do we have here, stranger?" he chuckles; voice deep and rough with smoke. "Either sell me your goods or get lost, stranger. And no hagglin'. Mista Pawbreaker don't have patience for it."

Oops. Well. You heard him. Either sell your stuff or scram!

You may sell items you don't want or need here at the Pawbroker for a (probably) fair price. He takes everything and anything and exchanges it for Meat Scraps(ms). You can additionally trade him your Meat Scraps for Meat.
