Here you can test the abilities of your Greyhound, like their natural running and hunting instincts.
NEGs can be entered in any of the following events at trials:
- Conformation
- Fast CAT (Coursing Ability Test)
- Lure Coursing
- Game hunting V.2 new !!
What is Conformation?
The official term for dog shows is conformation — as in, the act of conforming or producing conformity. While a dog show may look like a beauty pageant, it’s not. Dogs are not being compared to each other; they’re being measured by how closely they conform to the standard of their particular breed. Why? Because the closer a dog’s appearance is to the breed’s standard, the better that dog’s ability will be to produce puppies that meet the standard. It’s also the reason why mixed breeds and spayed or neutered purebreds are ineligible to compete in conformation.
In conformation, your Greyhound will go into the ring with other NEGs and be judged against the breed standard.

What is Fast CAT?
Fast CAT® – which stands for Coursing Ability Test – is a timed 100-yard dash where dogs run one at a time, chasing a lure. It's over before you know it — and it's nothing short of awe-inspiring to watch your dog run at top speed, ears back, eyes focused, legs strong.
FAST Coursing is a running test in a straight course. Your NEG will stand at the start and run 100 meters as fast as they can, chasing after a lure.

What is Lure coursing?
Lure coursing is a performance event developed in the early 70's by Lyle Gillette and other California Sighthound fanciers as a safer, more controlled sport for Sighthounds that simulates the pursuit of prey in the open field. Lure coursing presents an opportunity for sighthounds to chase a lure for fun.
Lure coursing is a running test, either 500 or 910 meters long, through a course in a field.

What is game hunting?
Rules
- Each dog may be entered in conformation and one of the two running sports at a time.
- You must have a storage thread for your greyhounds in order to participate.
- You may enter up to 4 dogs per round. (this may change later)
- Rounds will be rolled with a RNG for fairness.
- Rounds will be rolled once a week on Sundays, last day to enter for each round will be Saturday before CS rollover.
Prizes:
- If one of your dogs happens to roll a 100, you will receive a full custom. (Send Me a PM)
- Ribbons will be given out to the winners.
- Dogs with "CH" title in conformation will receive 50% max puppy boost.
- Dogs with "CAX" or "Fast" titles in lure coursing and Fast CAT coursing respectively, will receive the ability to auto-pass one marking in a breeding.
