Currently we are OPEN for staff applications!
We are currently looking to hire 2 artists and 1 Moderator as we look to grow!

Hello! staff applications are a necessary piece to any UMA that wants to grow, this being an UMA that wishes to expand means that sometimes I'll have to hold staff applications to search for new members to the staff team. If you are interested in any of the open positions, please fill out a form! Myself and the staff will look over it and we will choose from there! If for some reason or another you only want your application seen by staff- then feel free to send your application to me via PM.

1. You may not apply to be staff if you are banned or have accumulated any strikes within the UMA.

2. All applications will be submitted through this thread, with the exception of those who wish to PM instead.

3. All applications will be looked at by current staff and discussed before a hiring decision is made. Hiring decisions will be made within a few weeks of submitting the application.

4. Please do not apply for positions that are closed, the applications will be ignored. Wait until they open to submit your applications!

5. While it can be disappointing if you are not hired, please try to avoid complaining on this thread or in other Flosimo-related spaces. Furthermore, please do not guilt trip staff or successful applicants!

6. There are no restrictions to the number of roles you apply for- or the amount of times you apply, and so if you submit an application and you are not hired before applications close, you are free to submit your application again next time the position opens!

7. Please minimize posting on this thread unless you are posting breeding outcomes or marking the thread.

Artists are super important for the UMA community! They provide the UMA outcomes that the community gets to adopt. Artists should be able to make litters on a monthly basis, and be able to assist in the other parts of Flosimo creating like customs, breedings, item applications, etc. If this sounds like something that interests you, then please check out the detailed responsibilities, and fill out an application!

1.) Must have a discord, and the ability to upload to an IMG storage server in discord.
2.) Artists are expected to make a minimum of 8 free outcomes a month! This can be done via litters/raffles/giveaways/events/item customs or anything else not requiring payment. Of course if there is a reasonable reason why you cannot complete this on a given month, that is fine as long as admin has been notified.
3.) Artists are expected to engage in the community, this can be done through the discord server, CS threads, etc. But we want the community to include the staff!
4.) As it is the easiest way to make files universally used- artists must have access to an art program (with layer capabilities) that can both open and save PSD files. A few examples are as follows: GIMP, medibang, firealpaca, clip studio paint, or paint tool sai
5.) Artists are also encourage to participate in any other art related tasks, such as item making, the enhance the community experience.
6.) The staff as a whole is expected to weigh in on any important matters including but not limited to: community safety, strikes, bans, important choices for the UMA as a whole, and larger planning events. We want this to be a team effort!
7.) Creativity is encouraged and line-art edits are a part of that! If you want to edit the line art to make your outcomes you are free to do so- but you must keep some integrity of the original lineart so that it may still be recognizable as a Flosimo

Moderators are vital to upkeeping the peace, the rules, and the overall environment in the UMA space. Moderators will help answer community questions, redirect users when needed, and keep the discord chats in appropriate channels, and make sure that all discussions are appropriate. They will also bring up serious matters to the rest of the staff so that we can come up with solutions as a team. If this sounds like something you are interested in, please read the responsibilities below and fill out a form!

1.) Must have a discord, the ability to upload to an IMG storage server in discord if needed, and be able to actively participate in discord.
2.) Mods are the backbone of keeping things in order, and are expected to be able to answer regular questions, and be able to redirect/correct any users on their own. If something is of more serious nature, or they are unsure of the proper process, they are to bring it up to the staff as a whole so we can come to a decision together.
3.) Moderators are expected to engage in the community, this can be done through the discord server, CS threads, etc. But we want the community to include the staff!
4.) Mods must be able to engage with the community, fellow mods & staff in a respectful manner
5.) Mods will be expected to aid in messaging users to resolve issues, and/or issue warnings/strikes. Mods must be comfortable making these interactions.
6.) Mods will be very helpful for gathering code posts, and assisting in list gathering during events.
7.) In special situations mods may be allowed to create Flosimos or items. This will however not be the main roll and will not be expected. If creation is more of your interest- check out the artist app!
