Cozie rules apply, unless tweaked for the event.
Festival of Life will run from July 18th (17th->18th rollover) to August 1st (31st->1st rollover)
You will be given one extra week for exchanging and converting to candy, aka August 8th (7th->8th rollover). Sand Dollars will NOT convert to Cozie Candy unless you want it to.
You may edit all forms before rollover. If found editing past rollover, your form will be void.
You may use your "mark" as an event archive!
If you do not own a Cozie, Merina the event NPC can be used in-place of a Cozie! This is called "renting".
There is no pressure to participate in every aspect of the event!

In order to better organize events, we are trying a new system! At rollover every day, there will be posts reserved for every booth's results. If you see a stop sign, you may NOT post. Once all reserves are made, you will see a green light indicating that you CAN post. Even if booths have not posted their results, you may post for the next day. If you need to edit your post after results are posted, please do so before rollover to the next day!

"Okay, so- you get a Sand Dollar that you've collected from Daily Claim or from other booths, and you'll toss it into the water like a frisbee- or like, I guess just throw it??? and then Niorun will DIVE into the water, all majestic-like, and they'll bring you a prize!!! Basically you give something to get something! The reward can be small, like 5 Sand Dollars, or it can be something HUGE like the world's largest, most sugary, most colorful Cozie Candy!!! -- Oh, sorry, I got sidetracked."

The sun was high and bright as you arrived at the line for the steam train ride, it was modeled after a miniature train station, with a shaded platform where the train would arrive. You could smell the smoke from the engine and hear the sound of the wheels on the tracks and cozies cheering on the mini-train ride. The station was bustling with cozies waiting in line for the next round trip, and you can't help but feel excited to be there! Darl pulls up to the station, pulling on the cable that sounds the whistle. As the previous group hops off the train, Darl waves to everyone waiting to find a spot, "Come on aboard!!" You feel ecstatic as you get ready to hop onto your train car, ready for the thrill of riding a steam engine! Which color car will you choose?

Before you stands a traditional looking food stall. Behind this stall stands two Cozies, a white furred canine and a black furred feline, dressed in matching traditional carnival attire. They smile at you, with near identical smiles.

"Hello!" "Hello!"

They say in perfect unison. You say they look familiar. Very familiar, in fact.

"You must be mistaken, I am afraid!"

"Any resemblances to anyone you may know, past or present, is purely coincidental!"

They both laugh in a way that sounds totally sincere and not at all nervous. There's lots of awkward clearing of throats among all three of you. The feline adjusts their fancy and very legitimate looking moustache. The canine straightens their hats. Both hats.

"We are just two completely normal businessmen, here to provide all guests to this wonderful celebration with some delicious treats to enjoy while exploring the festival."

"So step right up! Give a spin of the wheel and win a tasty snack, or maybe some extra sand dollars to help you enjoy everything the other stalls have to offer."

"And don't worry if you don't win what you want. Any left over treats will be available to purchase at the end of the celebration."

Having finished your wheel spin for the day, you move to collect your prize when one of the cozies behind the stall speaks up.

Startled by the question you glance up, finding both the cozies smiling at you in matching excitement. Frowning in slight curiosity, you inquire as to why they ask. This seems to excite them even more, and the other cozie enthusiastically gestures towards the small ice cream truck parked beside their stall. This startles you, as you are fairly positive that had not been there moments before.

"One scoop per day, if you're interested! No extra charge, and we'll even throw in one free cone!"

You inquire as to what charge? They haven't charged you at all.

"Exactly!"

They both nod, delighted you have understood them. You also nod, not understanding them at all. A moment of silence falls, as they stare at you and you stare at them. Then, suddenly realizing they are waiting for your answer, you consider your options. Well, who doesn't like free ice cream?
