It's a bit sunny out, the warmth seeping under your fur and into the membrane of your goo as you follow the map that had shown up in your letterbox the week prior. It was an advertisement to a "tourist attraction".

Tourist attraction was a bit of a reach. You decide this when you see it in all of its glory- the farm advertised. It belonged to two goobs named Fidd and Gina respectively. Nothing weird about that, right?

Well, you are lead to assume such, until you hear a shout, the voice cracked with nervous frustration;

"Gina! Stop leaving your stuff everywhere!"

A shark-like goobie sprints past, causing you to blink rapidly before he pulls up and the two of you have a miniature staring contest.

Then, he looks absolutely *horrified* in your presence. Like, on the verge of tears, horrified.

"Good afternoon!" He screams quickly, and you feel a bit bad for the stressed diab, "welcome to the farm, I'm Fidd."

Then, his eyes catch the pamphlet in your jaw, and he straightens with joy. "Fantastic! You got our advert. Excuse me- GINA!"

At his call summons an agel, green and black with a split tail. Her expression is bored before it snaps into something mischievous, and you feel a tad nervous as she takes in your presence.

"This is Gina," Fidd explains quickly, tone sharp, "she has shared custody with me on the farm, y'see. We need some… help."

Gina snorts and Fidd glares at her with negative intent.

"This *agel* has played a prank on my land," he sounds exhausted, "the crops are overgrowing out of their mind. Not to mention her little… friends."

"Worms," Gina says smugly. A goob of little words, apparently.

Fidd sighs, tail swishing in aggravation. "Right. Those things. We need to clean up the farm before our next event. And this is where you come in."

And then it hits you. You've been forced into free labour.

As you continue to explore the farm, you spot Fidd again in his field looking stressed, covered in dirt holding what looks like a handful of worms and dirt. As soon as both your eyes met, his face lit up. You freeze in shock because you have a feeling of what’s to come next and you are not sure if you like what’s coming or not.

Aha! Perfect you’re here! Come now, I know this is probably not what you were expecting but hear me out. It’s actually very fun and… therapeutic! You just have to give it a try!

Fidd stutters as he says this as if not believing in what he just told you. He hands you a shovel and shows you which spots will get you the most worms. You take the shovel and try to dig up spots that you think will get you the most worms.

As you dig, you spot a quick movement at the corner of your eye. You turn to see what it is, and spot Gina glare at both of you mischievously as she drops a mouthful of worms on the spot that you and Fidd just cleared.

GINAAAAAA!!!!!

Unfortunately for you, you spot Gina sneaking around the back of the farm after dumping numerous worms. She looks at you with sharp eyes before she beckons you closer. With hesitation, you approach, albeit slowly, and her sharp gaze turns joyful. You feel a bit uneasy.

"Hey kid! Yeah, you. I like worms, you like worms-" no, you don't, "-we all like worms. So! Why not gamble some to me, eh?" She leads you away into another area of the farm where a run-down shed sits, covered in fairy lights and paintings of things you cannot figure out. When she opens the door, it's even brighter inside, and two mats sit patiently, and in the middle sits a table with a ten-sided die.

"So," she says, turning to you with amusement and a smug grin, "wanna gamble?"

MECHANICS
➥ You may only gamble once a day.
➥ Minimum bid is 1 worm, maximum bid is 3 worms.
➥ If you were to win with your bid, you would receive that bid in double. (E.G. if you win your 2 worm bid, you win 4 worms. If you were to win your 3 worm bid, you win 6.)
➥ Rolls 1-4 will result in you loosing your bid, and your worms will be voided. Rolls 5-10 will result in you winning your bid.
➥ Only post after tejki or Rinsea announce that the previous day has closed and the next is open for a new bid.

You find yourself at the end of the day examining a board that Fidd had set up, looking at it eagerly to see the results of your pay for today's work. With interest, you also notice that there are other names written around yours, and you suddenly feel better. Turns out this farm got a couple others and not just you.
