here is where you can leave tribute to the gob or gobbess in exchange for some coins,
granted from the black pools within the shrines...

additionally, it might all be superstition... but many goobies believe that
the lifeforce of the deities could be seen through the state of the shrines...
isn't that an interesting thought...?

you stumble upon the shrine, and it seems to welcome you. it is well kept and scarred, but repaired with dedication. something tells you it is visited often. you hear the sound of frogs, crickets, and the swishing of grass. you raise your gaze to the eye in the middle, and find it infinite. it is void, but it twinkles like the night sky.
it seems content. will you offer to him?

you stumble upon the shrine, and there is no one to welcome you. it is well cared for, but injured despite countless repairs. it is endlessly visited. you hear the sounds of nature, and above the sky is black as ever, but there is only one star lighting it. you raise your gaze to the eye in the middle, and find it infinite. it is void, but it twinkles still if you look well.
