welcome to the agel vs diab art fight!

get into the spirit of goovolution with some friendly rivalry between agels and diabs! art fight has long-since been a staple amongst goobies as a way to show their appreciation for one another, while also getting art in return; it's a win-win!

how does it work?

this booth is inspired by the annual art fight event, where users create art for others in order to win points for their team! users are divided into team agel or team diab based on the team they chose on the main event page, and can make art for, or 'attack' the other team by drawing art of any goobie belonging to anyone on the other team. users can also attack other people on their same team for 50% of the points. the more time and effort put into a piece of art, the more points it earns for your team! additionally, if someone attacks you, you can revenge the attack by making art for that user for double the points.

rules

• in order to participate, you must first sign up on the main goovolution event page and declare your team, agel or diab. the team you choose there is the same team you will be participating with during art fight! fill out the form below and include the team you chose, as well as links to the goobies you want drawn during the event
• when registering, the goobies you want to be drawn don't have to be on the same team as the one you chose for goovolution, e.g. if you chose team diab, you can request both diabs and agels to be drawn
• a maximum of 5 pieces of art can be submitted per day
• all art must be new art created for this event, meaning you can't submit art created previously for points
• attacks towards users who haven't signed up for goovolution don't count, as they don't have an assigned team
• you can't attack yourself! art must be of other participants' goobies in order to be eligible for points
• you're allowed to do a revenge on another revenge, starting what is called a revenge chain! any piece of art made for you during artfight can be revenged, as long as it's only done once
• please ping me in the discord if you submit a piece of art within the last 15 minutes before booth reset!

points

points have a 1:1 conversion rate to coins, meaning if you earn 4 points, you earn 4 coins, etc
for reference:
attacking opposite team = 100% points
attacking same team = 50% points
attacking someone who attacked you first (revenge) = double points (100% same-team, 200% opposite-team)

sketch (a rough or clean-lined uncoloured piece) = 2 points
coloured headshot (a clean-lined or sketchy piece with few construction lines and flat colours) = 4 points
coloured fullbody (at least 50% of a character visible with a transparent or single-colour background) = 6 points
coloured fullbody + background (at least 50% of a character visible, background can be simple like a pattern or gradient, just not a solid colour in order for it to count) = 8 points
above and beyond = 10 points

scenes are defined as pieces that feature the majority of the character (more than a headshot) with lighting/perspective/enough of a background to clearly place the character in a setting. here are some examples from the thread that represent this concept well:

animations are defined as a single piece consisting of 2 or more frames, and will receive the full 10 points unless the art itself falls into the "sketch" category
other examples of above and beyond may include: clay sculptures, 3D models, mixed media, physical crafts
extra points may be awarded for polish at my discretion, which means more time spent rendering/shading/adding details
