“Why, Hello there dear goobies! I /do/ hope that you’re enjoying the festivities- Goo-o-Ween is such a pleasant little event, isn’t it? Well, I would have been helping you all summon demons and all sorts of beasties… but my poor goobinomicon seems to be acting up. No matter what I do, there’s no magic to be found! Perhaps, if we take a look through it together, you could help me out.”

Every day, Caedmon will read a prompt from the Goobinomicon, and your goobies must respond to the prompt in order to help bring magic back to the book! However, with something strange going on with the book, some of the prompts might feel a bit...incomplete. But don't worry, Caedmon will be there to help! He may be a vampire- but he's not a monster!

Prompt Answers must be either 150 words or a headshot sketch at minimum!
Every day, Caedmon will point out his favorite prompt answer and give them extra rewards!

“Seems simple enough, Do you like storms, dear goobie? Why or why not?” Caedmon asks, eager to hear answers.

Prompt Answer; Skye considers the question before his expression breaks out in a smile. "Are you kidding? I love storms! They make it far more exciting to fly, navigating around the KABOOMS and the FLASH and the KERPOW! It is like nothing else to do so! Plus, it helps keep my flying skills sharp! I mean, we must always keep at the top of our game right?" He chuckles, before considering.

"The sky has such a unique smell and taste during a storm too, it tingles upon ones tongue! I suppose DIABS would compare the taste to pop rocks? Anyways, it's something you can only experience during a storm! I love it!" They make happy gestures with their paws as they explain, before humming.

"Will say though getting struck kiiiinda a bummer. Like, it sucks. Singes the fur in ways that yick, smelly! But, avoid that and storms are the best! I've only got struck three or four times so it all balances out in the end I think!" (167)

Daemon takes a seat, a thoughtful expression passing over his face as he raises a paw to his jaw, nodding his head slightly as if confirming something within himself.
"Yeah, I think storms are pretty cool... don't get me wrong, I know that they can cause mass amounts of destruction and even simple thunderstorms can scare people! But... I think it's all part of nature and that it just has to be accepted. Even within a storm you can find relaxation. The soothing sound of rain on your windows, or the far-off rumble of thunder in the clouds."

He laughs softly to himself, bringing his paw back down to the ground as he turns to face Caedmon, displaying a small smile on his face.
"Do you like storms, Caedmon? I like to think a lot of people would...Especially if it's raining and you're under the water. I think that's my favourite time for it to storm."

Prompt Answer; Dyoxi loves storms! They fuel his very emo nature and makes him feel welcomed and safe. He loves hearing the roars of thunder and seeing the strokes of lightning. They fascinate him as they are nature’s phenomenons that are so unique and untouched by man. They are beautiful but can be deadly, storms can be destructive.

During storms, he can be found admiring them from his home, watching the lightning and hearing the thunder, music to his ears. He also enjoys watching as the clouds turn from white to grey, and the trees sway as the wind picks up at the start of a storm. The storms cause Dyoxi to be really excited, like watching a movie in real life. The diab goob feels that the storms can relate to him. He gets angry easily, and it’s like the sky also gets violent and angry like him often as well. This comforts him, knowing he isn’t alone in his torment.

Renna nodded immediately. She loved storms. "Storms are wonderful, Caedmon. The sound of the droplets hitting the trees in the leaves. The smells they bring about remind me of my dear Flippy. Plus storms are perfect for spell casting!" Renna seemed to get lost in her own thoughts as she thought about how wonderful storms were.

On the other hand, Felicity felt very differently. "Storms are horrible! They make my hair and fur all frizzy. Do you know how hard it is to keep this hair this perfect?" Felicity asked doing the typical hair flip. "Although I do like watching lightning through windows."

Renna broke out of her revelry to smile at her daughter. They may have their differences but she was happy her daughter felt she could speak her mind.

Flynn, Renna's son, spoke next. "I love rainy days because I can run around and play in the puddles. I don't like stormy days because the thunder and lightning are way to frightening." Flynn shuddered as he spoke. He usually spent stormy days curled up under a blanket. He hopes to be as brave as the rest of his family one day.

Prompt Answer; Lily smiles and nods. "Yeah, I love the rain! It's fun to play in, and when it's just a light storm it's nice to just sit and listen to the rain for a while. It's really peaceful and calming, actually. Sometimes I meditate during lighter storms, between the peaceful sound of rain falling and the drops of rain landing on you, I think it's really relaxing." She pauses. "Thunder storms aren't as fun though, I can't play outside during them because of the lightning..." Lily shrugs. "But regardless, I still enjoy them. Just, from inside. The thunder sounds pretty cool, when you're expecting it anyway." ...There have definitely been times when a thunder storm started suddenly and startled her. At least she was able to laugh it off afterwards!
"And there are some pretty cool things lightning can do! Like sometimes it'll take the form of a sphere and it looks awesome! That's pretty rare, though. I've never actually seen it in person myself, but I have seen some neat photos!"
