The Lone Bashkir Curly horse is a very unique and set apart breed. They are well known for their curly coats, caused by many gene mutations, and their versatility. Lone Curly Horses are often found as chestnut, but have a wide variety of colors, some more rare than others. They range in a height of 13-16 hands, but are often found between 14-15 hands. These horses are found wild in Nevada, USA. Although they are wild, they are also known for their calm and gentle nature. Lone Bashkir Curly Horses got their name due to them not staying in herds with other horses, like most do. Since they are always separated, they often wonder far into owned land and cause disruptions. They have very much grown in population, and many problems have arose, therefore creating the LBC Organization. The LBC Organization is running a rehoming program to protect these horse's while still preserving them. If you're interested, keep an eye out as many are posted for rehoming daily.

How to Adopt/Re-adopt

Postby rebelappy » Thu Dec 23, 2021 4:00 pm

How to Adopt a Lone Bashkir Curly
The LBC artist staff will post new adopts often. You can find these adoptable LBC's by seeing a "UFA" sign in a top corner. LBC adopts will have a form to fill out along with some challenge/competition to complete for your entry. There will also be an end date listed for any LBC adopt. If a form is posted past the end date set, your entry will be void.

Adoption Form Break-down
Owner - Your username will be here.
Show Name - This is more of a 'fancy' name for your horse. This name will be used for registering your horse to the archive.
Barn Name - This is a short name for your horse, like a nickname.
Gender - This is the gender of the LBC. This must stay the same as what's listed for breeding purposes.
Eye Color - This is the eye color of your horse, this will usually be set by the artist, and cannot be changed.
Height - This is the height of your horse. Horse's height are counted in measurements of hands. One hand = four inches.
Phenotype- This is the coat color of your horse, this is also set by the artist.
Genotype- This is the genotype of your horse, used for realistic breeding purposes.
Breeding Info - This is used for artists' to help pass certain info when breeding.
Edits- This describes the mane, tail, and body type of your horse. This is set by an artist.

Re-adoption
If you want to give away/ re-adopt out your LBC's for any reason, the original owner and new owner must both post on the specific horse's page. You must send rebel.appy, or our archivist a message for any changes to be final. You may trade, giveaway, or re-adopt out your LBC. If you re-adopt out your LBC, you may only use prompts of some kind. You cannot sell these horse's for any type of currency. If you are caught selling LBC's for currency, it will result in an ultimate ban, and your current LBC's will be re-adopted out by the artists'.

How to Use Items
There are a few ways you can use an item you own on a curly. One way is commenting on a curly you own, stating what item you want to use. Some items require you to pick certain colors, so be sure to also include that information. Another way is adding your item to a form for a breeding, or import. This would be put in the 'Others;' part of a form. Once you have used an item, you may no longer use it again. You can achieve items through events and giveaways. There may be some other ways to achieve items, but events and giveaways will be the main way.
