RULES
- 1. you may only enter to win a race if you have posted on the main CAC thread within the past month and you have had your starting post replied to by a mod.
2. once you win a cat, you are allowed to watch the other derby races (for free!) to give everybody a chance to win a cat. the final day, everyone regardless of previous wins will be allowed to participate.
4. keep all forms on this thread.
5. if you win a cat, they must be at least 21 moons old but anything else is up to you.
6. none of the derby cats are related so they are allowed to try for kits.

HOW TO ENTER
- • each day there will be a derby race running! anybody with a clan that has posted within the past month and has a starting post reply can enter.
• there is an entry fee to enter the race for the day! by filling out the form below, you can purchase a derby ticket and be entered for a chance to win a cat.
• the fee for each day is 3 pebbles (except the final day which is 5 pebbles)! in your entry form, you must choose which clan the cat will go to and that clan will be the one you subtract your pebbles from.
• i will be keeping tally of how many pebbles you spend and what clan they come from. you may wait until the end of the Derby Days to subtract your total of pebbles at one time.
• each race is a raffle in which i will use an rng to pick a winner for the day. do not list any numbers in your entry form, i will do that for you!

THE WINNING CATS
- • each winner of a derby race will receive a cat as their prize!
• each cat is on custom lines drawn by me with editing input from grey_hoodie (please give her love)!
• every cat has a new, cac-exclusive gene affecting their tails! even though they are all shorthair, they have an extremely long and fluffy tail. this is known as the Kahikina gene.
• the Kahikina gene is dominant and is referred to as KhKh / Khkh / khkh in genotypes.
• the Kahikina gene may now be expressed in eligible litters but keep in mind that the tails will be less...extreme...than the upcoming event cats.
