You heard correctly! This odd little hive is looking for aspiring and expressive artists to join the team. Here's how it works:

1. Review the species guidelines and rules below, so that you'll know how to make a snaggle with proper confirmation!
2. Create a post here. You may stylize it however you wish, but this single post will contain your entries.
3. Obtain your files for entries. This can be done in two ways.
-Visit the files on my DeviantArt and download each layer to pull into your own editor.
-I use a free program called Medibang Paint to make all of my artwork. If you have the program, you may PM me so that we can work out a way to get you the .mdp file.
4. Create and display your entries!

Entry Rules

1. Snaggle all have a unique chitinous plate on their heads, and often on other parts of their bodies. All of your entries must have at least a head crest, which is normally added on a blank layer on the very top of the piece.
2. You may have up to 7 entries. These entries may have line modifications of various degrees, but at least 2 must be off of the original, untouched lines.
3. While it isn't required, it's highly recommended that you base your entries on emotions and experiences. This was the original intention of the species- to share myself and enable expression
4. This is most important: have fun!! I am looking for artists who are willing to stay and build the hive long-term, and that can't be done if no one is having fun with it!

#1: this is supposed to be about wanting to be wild and free ( i can’t figure out how to make my background clear but if you have any tips for me then then they would be much appreciated. )

This one is about rising up and out of a bad situation.

Oh, yes! Making backgrounds disappear is actually quite easy.
1. Make sure you don't have a solid background layer. (It will display as white and grey checkers when the background is deleted or erased, just like in the layer examples above.)
2. Save your image as a .png file type. Some editors will ask you if you want to save as a "transparent png", and that's what you'll want.

And that's all! Formats like .jpeg or .gif tend to not support transparency, but .png always will ^^
