Welcome to the Competition Centre for feroxes! Here you can enter your pony for competitions and pick up ribbons and trophies to display in your stall! Participation in Competitions is completely optional.

In order to enter competitions, you will need to own a ferox welsh pony! If you haven't yet got one, you can find available ponies on the main page (click the "adopt" button above!)

You can enter your pony in the Halter discipline, as well as one other discipline - English, Western, or Extended. You can only enter the latter disciplines if your pony has been given a discipline upon adoption that falls under one of those categories. You can check if the discipline your pony has is under English, Western, or Extended by scrolling down to the next post in this thread.

You will need to make sure that your stable is up to date before entering, as you may be removed from competitions if missing information is discovered.

To enter a competition, simply fill out and post the form for the discipline your pony is competing in. You can enter 5 ponies/teams per round - any extra entries will not be accepted!

──── 𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄𝐒 ────────────────────────────────────────

Only use the ribbons and titles that your pony is given.
Incorrect forms will not be judged. Make sure your information is correct before the judging date.
You may only enter 5 ponies/teams per round.
You may enter a maximum of four ponies in a team. Only the score of Pony #1 and #2 will be used, but extras may win ROMs.
Teams should consist of the same individuals and the same number of teammates across different competitions. If a pony in a team is no longer owned by you, you may add another pony to replace it.
Ponies can compete in a maximum of two discipline categories. Any pony can compete in halter. If they have a registered discipline, they can also compete in the category it belongs to (e.g a show-jumper can compete in English competitions). Check the next post to see what category your pony's discipline falls under.
An up-to-date stable is required to compete.

There are four competition categories you may enter. The disciplines within these categories will be judged together. All ponies, including ones with non-competitive disciplines such as trail riding, may enter the Halter category. If your pony has a competitive discipline, it may also enter in competitions of that type. For example, a ferox with the show jumper discipline may enter both halter competitions and English competitions, as show jumping is listed under the English competition type. If your pony has a competitive discipline that is not listed here, please feel free to contact me to suggest adding it.

Competitions are rng rolled out of 100, or rng selected amongst participants. Ponies in a team or pair are judged as two individuals, and are scored out of 100 each for a total of 200. Each difficulty level will have a higher score requirement in order to pass and gain the associated title and ribbon.

If entrant numbers are high, they will be divided into groups for judging to allow for more championship level and ROM winners.

If you earn a title in any competition type, you can display it on your pony's page, and you may add the associated ribbon to their page as well. You may choose to append the letter of your specific discipline onto the title name, to better signify what your pony has competed in. For example, dressage intermediate would be listed as "EI-D" rather than just "EI"; showjumping championship would be listed as "ECh-J"; reining novice would be listed as "WN-R"; and so on. The letters are listed below with the disciplines.

Single highest scorer of the group will pass.

AWARDS
EROM - English Register of Merit
Highest scorer across all levels in each group will receive the Register of Merit. Every 5 ROM winners will have an item raffled off between them.

Pair or team ponies must score at least 120/200 to pass.

COMPETITIONS
XN - Novice in Extended Discipline
Single ponies must score at least 70/100 to pass the Novice level.
Pair or team ponies must score at least 140/200 to pass.
XI - Intermediate in Extended Discipline
Single ponies must score at least 80/100 to pass.
Pair or team ponies must score at least 160/200 to pass.
XA - Advanced in Extended Discipline
Single ponies must score at least 90/100 to pass.
Pair or team ponies must score at least 180/200 to pass.
XCh - Championship in Extended Discipline
For single ponies, the single highest scorer of the group will pass.
For team or pairs, the single highest scoring team or pair of the group will pass.

AWARDS
XROM - Extended Register of Merit
Highest scorer across all levels in each group will receive the Register of Merit. In pairs and teams, all participating ponies will receive a ROM. Every 5 ROM winners will have an item raffled off between them. Users with team or pair winners will only be entered once in this raffle (i.e. once for each team not once for each pony with a ROM).

Entrants do not need to compete in a qualifier of any kind for Halter discipline competitions. Horses registered under any discipline, including pleasure riding or other non-competition disciplines, may enter in halter classes. Championship titles are awarded automatically when your pony reaches the threshold to receive one.

HEx - Excellence in Halter
All entrants will be rng'ed and the winner will receive HEx, being the winner of their halter class.
HBM - Best Mare in Halter
Mare entrants will be rng'ed and the winner will receive HBM.
HBS - Best Stallion in Halter
Stallion/gelding entrants will be rng'ed and the winner will receive HBS.

TITLES
HChB - Halter Championship Bronze
Awarded when 3 HEx awards have been won.
HChS - Halter Championship Silver
Awarded when 4 HEx awards have been won.
HChG - Halter Championship Gold
Awarded when 5 HEx awards have been won.
HChP - Halter Championship Platinum
Awarded when 5 HEx awards and 1 HBS/HBM has been won.
