welcome to bobbles pre-launch event!
to celebrate the official launch of bobbles, we'll be having an event!
between games, contests, special adopts, and shopping, our pre-
launch event is sure to entertain scientists and witches and everyone
in between.

registration
during this event, you can earn points, which will be used to buy limited
event-only items and bobbles, as well as other fun prizes. before participating
in the event, we recommend you to register both for the event and for bobbles
as well. registering on the main thread gives you access to character creation, in
which you select either scientist or witch. registering for the event helps us keep
track of who is participating!

registering for the event before the event goes live will get you
a bonus 50 points, and registering the first day of the event will get you
35 points!

join the scientists and witches for a week long journey to bond with each other!
during this adventure, you lead you and a bobble of your own choice on an adventure where you may find treasure and meet new companions.

every now and then, a bobble runs loose and it's up to the community to find the missing bobble. these bobbles are looking for a companion who likes, and is good at, playing hide and seek, so the first to find them wins their heart and is able to make the bobble their companion.

a post will be made announcing when a bobble is let loose, as well as the form. the bobble can be found in older posts. when found, fill out and post the form stating that you found the missing bobble.

the witches are holding a spell competition!
this competition is for witches only and resets every day, meaning a winner is drawn every day.
the winner will receive 30 points and all participants receive 10 points. as well as +10 points towards their spell making skill for every time they participate.
the witch with the most wins will receive the spell master badge and their spell making skills will go up a level.

you may create a written spell, or create a spell jar by listing ingredients.

the scientists are all gathering and holding a mixture contest!
similar to the witches contest, this will only be for scientists.
combine different materials and win points! the competition will reset every day as well, and the scientist with the most wins will receive a master of the elements award, as well as their alchemy level rising a level.
all participants receive 10 points as well as +10 points towards their alchemy skill for every time they participate.

scientists and witches alike are coming together to discover new bobble mutations. there will be 2 total rounds throughout the event.
during the event, you may submit a new mutation once a day for the period specified. users vote on the mutation they like most, and at the end of each day the votes will be tallied and the one with the most votes will be that day's winner. at the end of the round, the winning mutations will face off against each other. the winning mutation from the round will become an official mutation.

you do not have to draw the mutation, you can just describe it if you'd like !

entries are limited to 1x a day, and users may only vote for one mutation that day.

all participating voters will receive 5 points per vote.
if your mutation wins for that day, you will receive 50 points.
the user with the winning mutation for the round will receive 150 points and 3 copies of their mutation to apply to any existing bobble, or to use on a custom.
