As you make your way through the arkade, tokens jingling in your pocket, a low-quality crash of thunder catches your attention. An eerie blue glow emanates from the machine beside you, not as bright or flashy as the modern games, but vibrant enough to cast a strange light over you. An illuminated crystal ball sits upon a starry tablecloth within the antique-looking wooden booth, and you consider for a moment as you look up, reading the name across the top in shimmering gold letters:

The sound of thunder rolls again, the light of the crystal and candles pulsing brighter along with it, and the animatronic fortune teller suddenly jolts to life.
The recorded woman's voice plays as the animatron's arms raise and lower over the ball, her mouth opening and closing in no real resemblance of the words being spoken. But it has an atmosphere, and it's about what you'd expect of an antique.
Upon closer inspection, it does appear to have space for tickets to dispense. Maybe it wouldn't be a waste to give it a try...
The sudden, harsh voice sends you back and you turn to see a young kalon giving you a very distrusting scowl.
You nod, and promise you had no intentions of the sort. You see now that she's wearing a uniform, but not the same uniform you've seen around the rest of the arkade. This looks much more like some kind of guard's uniform. Her eyes search you for a few moments more, then, seeming content to trust you, she backs down.
You assure her you will, and she steps back, but still has her eyes on you. Between her staring you down and the creepy animatronic kalon, the weird blue light... it gives you a strange feeling, but you're still curious.
