You walk up to what looks to be an abandoned castle. Yet, there are greenish banners flying everywhere you possibly look. As you walk into the cobblestone structure you begin to see where someone has started to refurbish the rundown landscape. Looking around you find a room filled with people and long wooden tables. Oh, and tons of Suraimus fluttering, hopping, and flopping. Iris flutters over them all in which other Suraimu's chirp happily with greetings. She lands on a gentleman's shoulder who is so broad it could fit three of her. And then he promptly heads your way. The gentleman towers of you with a broad grin.
"Well, hello there!" His voice booms and he grabs your hand to shake it; he nearly lifts you off the ground doing so. "They call me AJ, Atticus Jones formally. I'm the leader of the Structure Guild. Here we take the situation of the world seriously. It's not about just protecting the essence and Suraimus, this world belongs to us too! We should take some responsibility for that. So, we build from the ground up, and stay on a strict path that grounds us in our ways." He looks around at all the other guild members with a broad grin, "We've all done the work to reach where we're at. And we help one another to do so. We understand we're only as strong as our weakest link, and so we keep our new members in the background until they can safety help us fight the darkness. Mission go in rank levels, but that's for another conversation!"
Atticus sits on a stool next to one of the tables, "If you're like some of the other Iris has brought over I would guess you have no idea about half of what was explaining. So, I'll break it down. Suraimus give essence, basically this energy source they produce when fed, or loved, or trained. It's a weird concept, but it happens. Essence powers pretty much everything in this world. Magic, electricity, the very ground beneath our feet. And the darkness wishes to harness the Suraimus to control the essence. If the darkness gains the power it would disrupt the entire system," he pound his fists together, "and that is something I won't stand for." AJ chuckles, "in order to fight that structure we try to gain Earth Essence the most. It's the most stable of the six essences."
"Anyway, if you wish to join us you need to be ready for a strict schedule, and a time consuming build up," A Suraimu with spikes slithers over to his feet and grins at you. "We're not for everyone, but those who fit with us can be some of the toughest people in Elpída. Make sure the decision is right for you, and if not, don't be a stranger alright!"
