You enter what looks like a fantasy home turned into a hotel of sorts. Everywhere you look there are Suraimus surrounding people. Many of the Suraimus have what look like bowls of mixed berries. Guess they must eat well here. Iris float towards a small green humanoid in a fancy coat. He turns toward you with a smile.
"Well, hello there newbie!" He gives you pat on your arm, "Iris says you're looking for a Guild to help find your way against the darkness. Name's Zane, and I'm the Guild Master of Desire. Here we believe in strength of numbers and bringing the fight to the evil of Elpida. We don't wait the gain what we want, and we do not hold out on others to fight our battles. If people see us as selfish or reckless because of our ways," He shrugs, "That's on them." Zane crosses his arms, "Of course to keep our members competitive we give incentive. Whoever works the best alongside their Suraimus, and defeats the darkness will get to decide what happens to the treasure it guards."
"Suraimus have this aura of sorts known as Essence. It powers the world, and allows us to use magic within the realm. The more Suraimus you partner with, the more likely we will be to end the darkness once and for all. Also, probably should mention, the Darkness wishes to consume Essence and use it for itself. It's a win, win, because the wild Suraimus have no real protection without the Guilds. The difference between us and other Guilds is we recognize the power Suraimus have, and help them become stronger on their own. That way they won't need us." His eyes widen, "Oh, yeah. Almost forgot. We tend you use Fire Essence as it is the strongest of the Essence teirs. It also, is the least controllable, but if you can learn to harness it you will be practically unstoppable."
Zane ponders and turns from you, "If you wish to actually win this fight, I recommend you join us." He waves his hand in the hair in dismissal, "But only do so if you're ready to fight for what you want. There's no freebies."
