The Nord Cavall is a docile, friendly breed of horse heralding from the northern parts of Iberia. Though an old breed, it only began to grow in popularity worldwide after it's rising appearance in shows. Originally serving as a cart-pulling horse for market, or mounts in times of war, Cavalls are now proving excellent in areas such as dressage, driving, and leisure riding. Like many other light Iberians, the Nord Cavall is a baroque horse: agile, but strong in body. For centuries, Cavalls have been seen to have cropped manes for various reasons. Typically, to mark stallions in market, though that's not always the case. The tradition has survived, though doesn't hold as much of a purpose as simply being for aesthetic.

You’re all very much welcome here to chat about your Cavalls, check in with everyone, etc etc. Please try to remain on topic, any private discussions between members should be taken to PM or otherwise; if there are matters that need to be addressed by staff please send me a PM so things can be handled in an appropriate manner.
