Driving
Competition

Driving is a competition wherein two drivers guides a pair of horses from a small carriage. Three phases are worked through: dressage, cross-country, and obstacle driving. Work together as a team of drivers and horses to amass points.

Cavalls with a driving specialty may be entered here in the hopes of winning a prize and, eventually, the coveted champion position. In order to enter, fill out a form for each entered horse. After 24 hours of opening, pairs are randomized and assigned. As a pair, put together as many point-earning tasks as possible. Each user must complete the same task as their partner. If one does a headshot, so must the other. Those two tasks earn points individually, but one will not be counted if the other is not completed. The more points, the higher the placement, the higher the reward. Competitions hand out silvers, a special currency that can be used on silver-exclusive items.

Once a horse has won fifteen competitions (1st place), it will earn a champion status. This unlocks items for itself and any future foals.

Runs Every Other Monday
You may post intent of entrance immediately following judging.
You may post and edit forms immediately following pairing, until the notice of close for judging.

Notice Board

• You may enter unlimited horses.
  
• You may order artwork.
• One partner may complete tasks for the other, but it must be in the proper cavall's form.
• Any regular tasks may be included and stacked.
• Any bonus task may be included once (for each horse).
• All tasks must pertain to the specific horse(s) and driving.
• A user is never paired with themselves.
• Using the same art/writing in multiple runs is immediate disqualification for five runs.

Placement Awards:

• 1st - 25 silvers
• 2nd - 20 silvers
• 3rd - 15 silvers
• 4th - 10 silvers
• 5th - 5 silvers
• Others with >0 points - 1 silver

Regular Tasks:

• Headshot || 5-10 points
• Fullbody || 15-25 points
• Story (100-600 words) || 5-25 points
• Poem || 1-5 points

Bonus Tasks:

• Fact Find (changes every run) || 3 points
• Gamble || 60% chance for -5 points | 40% chance for +15 points

When you send in a fact find, it counts for all your entered horses.

To take the gamble task, replace ((Task Type)) with 'Gamble' and fill out with 'Yes.'
Both partners must agree on doing the gamble or not, if one partner does a gamble and the other doesn't, it will not count.

Repeat this form for every entered cavall.
In 24 hours, partners will be randomized and you may start planning your tasks.
