»Mud, by the coast it's everywhere, no one can escape the miles of it that stretch alongside her. As he takes another step through the muck it spreads in between his pawpads and clumps up his fur weighing him down further in his journey. He has to make it to the rocks, the black spikes of exposed bedrock that shoot out of the sand like daggers. To reach his vantage point among the rocky shore where he mingle among the moss that freely grew as even the highest waves couldn't reach their height. His paws crush barnacles and intertwine with seaweed clinging to the base of the stones, as he makes his ascent to the top. Intense sunlight greats his eyes and dilates his pupils as he looks out into her usual magnificence.
»The movement of the waves and the sway of sky’s clouds were in prefect tempo with one another. Flying fish waltz through the blue currents before launching out of the water, their wings sparkling in the dewy mist. Gulls dive bomb towards the fish, hunger not only in their bellies but lingering in their heads. They were like synchronized swimmers, all falling down and reemerging triumphantly with prey in beak. She always called him but he wasn't built to be with her. He wasn't born with a sleek fin along his back nor a streamline body that would cut through the water like a knife through flesh. That never stopped him from wanting to sink into the blue nothingness, fall deep beneath the waves till the sunlight could no longer flicker on his face. He always craved the feeling to stay within her grasp's for so long, his creamy fur would get stained blue and his skin would reek of salt. Blue, blue, blue that's all that filled his head. Everyday he looks out and sees what bounty she offers and feels grief because he cannot claim that treasure himself.
»The sky has lost it cheery color and the white puffy clouds that swarmed it have long disappeared. A thunderous crack knocks him out of his daydreaming state, no longer is his precious calm and embracing. Her waves are beating down on the rocks, tearing at the sealife and greenery that grew for years undisturbed. Before he could act she reaches up and snatches him. Suddenly, he feels a burning sensation in his chest and no matter how much he kicks his legs he feels her hands too deeply entangled in his fur dragging him further under. His vision blurs, but he has one last thought.

One eye sees a different future.

The tea was bitter. She never cared for it but she took it in respect of the other. Jennette was a the go to chef in town. Her long cherry read hair matched her shine almost perfectly. The organized kalon set down a batch of freshly made lemon squares. “So as I was saying Mellow you cannot believe what this customer” She said excitably. Jeannette’s voice clipped with a french accent every now and again. Mellow shrugged into her tea cup,swallowing another bitter sip of tea.





She could give a guess onto what Jeannette was going through. With one hazy green tinted vision she could guess that the customer didn’t realize that Jeannette was partial deaf. Through a soft blue vision she saw another future we’re a customer had accidentally knocked over a stand of tarts with there massively long tail. Both visions had a equal opportunity in her mind. Mellow put down the tea cup.” The customer was yelling at you?” Mellow snatched at a lemon square and shoved it into her muzzle. Jeannette let out a little laugh at her friends eagerness.” No, they knocked over a huge stand of my delicious food..so I was saving it” She rambled. Mellow knew her friend was a chatter box when it came to things she was upset about. Most the time she tuned out the excessive rambles. At the moment another vision started annoyingly tick in the back of her head.

In a misty green haze a young kalon is wondering into town. Alone and afraid she walks. It appeared to be night in her dream. Something..or someone was chasing them. In another vision with soft blue mist the kalon has stolen something, again running away from someone. Mellow exhaled at the end of her vision. She was brought muzzle to muzzle with her friends eager face.”you..had one of your vision” she gasped,clapping her paws excitingly.” Uh..yeah you can say that” mellow mumbled under her breath. “Now come on,what did you see in my future” the other said,twirling a strand of red locks. “Well it wasn’t about you..actually Jean..I have to go” she said,collecting her knapsack. Jeannette pursed her lips into a frown.”oh..alright..take some food for the road..it’s starting to get dark out”
