Explore Wisperia or send your pet to explore it!
Once every three days, you and your pet can explore several locations.
Each location has several unique items and wolves.
Locations are chosen at random unless you have a Portal Ball

Energy depletes by 1 every time I reply (basically every round)

You have a 3 day cooldown for exploring, and each wolf has a 24 hour cooldown.
