PART ONE - THE STORY BEGINS
Welcome to The Forest! This is the forest in which foxifae were first discovered by three explorers on a camping trip. Foxifae are a mystical species of small marsupials. They tend to be very shy, but more and more have been discovered here in the forest. It can be a strange place, often feeling like you've lost time when you enter. Compasses don't work here, and no map can properly tell where you are. In any other place, those things might create a scary setting, however, for some reason, this forest is a comforting and safe-feeling place. All sorts of animals can be hear at different times of the day and night, making a symphony of nature at all hours. The towering trees act like look out towers to protect the heart of the forest and all the magic that seems to blossom from the roots of the trees and plants. Every living creature is safe here, and the warm breeze whispers soft reassurances and promises as it flows through the trees.
The foxifae here are the simplest breed encountered yet, but seem to have the purest hearts. They act as caretakers of all the plants and smaller animals. Despite their gentle nature, they will be fiercely protective of their home and defend it valiantly from anything they deem as a threat. Even though they may all be kind of heart, the foxifae here all have vastly different personalities and character traits! No foxifae acts just like the other, and because of their differences, the entire forest is built of a tight knit community. They are helpful and encouraging to one another, and seem to try and spread that kindness to other species as well.
