introducing; the lineage tracker !
this feature can be used to track which bull(s) your bred cows are descended from!
- this family tree denotes all bulls, but only bred heifers
- blue denotes bulls, pink denotes heifers; this reflects only biological breeding sex
- bulls are denoted by their archive number and their name for searching purposes
how to use
- bred buttermilks are denoted by a B before their archive number, as in the nursery archive
- using the Find feature, by the zoom buttons, you will find all bulls above the name foundation bulls, and all heifers below it
- a bred cow is added to each line separately - see below for more details;
↪ a second generation heifer is added as a child of their sire
↪ a calf of a second generation heifer and first generation bull is added twice, once to the dam and once to the bull
↪ i.e - B#046 appears under B#06 and under #259, appearing twice in the search bar
