Non-Seal Based Genes

Mink- [Mnkmnk] A modifier

Fox- [Fxfx] A dunlike modifier gene

Puffin- [Pufpuf] Black based coats only (doesn't appear on chestnuts) Results in a splashlike pattern and darkens bay coats to nearly black, can sometimes result in orange facial markings

Caribou- [Carcar] Makes a horse's coat look like a caribou's, only appears on chestnuts

HoHo (Ee/Atat base modifier; only expresses on seal bay)

Bdbd (only expressed on black horses- sometimes mistaken for grey, genetic testing is needed)
