I don't know if we would consider mutations or anything like that in the future of this breed (sort of like the big name deviantart equine species) but, there are quite a few out there I love. These mutations could be incredibly rare and only occur at special numbers (50s/100s) with only one or two breeding slots. I'll delete this if we don't want to consider this later on, but some of the following are ideas I've had in mind (I am using the scientific classification for each name based off an animal). Also, these markings would go above main coat color, but below white markings.

⋄ Cervidae (CvCv / Cvcv /nCv) - Based on the spots you would see on fawns. Examples: Nordanner1, Nordanner2, Beaurever1, Drakehest1
⋄ Bloody Shoulder (BlSBlS / Blsbls / nBls) - Usually only found in grays, but with this mutation it could occur on any color. Examples: Horse1, Horse2
⋄ Felis (FsFs / Fsfs / nFs) - Simply put, tabby stripes (could be tiger stripes too). Examples: Drakehest1, Nordanner1

Also, if we want to keep this as a natural breed, we could instead implement war paint. This would allow artists to get a bit creative without making some funny genetics. (I'm leaning towards war paint)

Good suggestions, but we are wanting to keep things realistic with Rajarshi as of now; so the gene additions are a no go. There may be a time, further in the future, where something could come up but currently we aren't interested in any odd genes. (Somatic Mutation is a rare gene, so while we don't want to see it on every other Raj, it's essentially what you've already suggested with your shoulder mark as it can happen on any base.)

Bloody Shoulder especially will never be a thing, regardless of whether it is some odd occurrence as you've stated. Rajarshi do not express Fleabitten Grey coats, so a Bloody Shoulder will not be permitted in any case.

War paint was never stated as something the artists couldn't do; these are War Horses. If you want to go ahead and make some with war paint, be our guest as long as you don't get too crazy and slap some paint on everything, lol.
