Base info
Info here applys to all Dragon horses, be they the normal Dragon horse or one of there sub breeds.
Dragon horses use there wings for courtship. The more amazing the male is in the air, showing off his stuff with his wings the more likely the female is to have kids with him.
For those other breeds that can't fly they tend to show there stuff on the ground. Leaping and fluttering there wings, flaring them out, opening and closing them rapidly, jumping and twisting in the air so there wings are seen from differnt angles, anything to get attention.
All dragon horses no matter the breed have differnt taste in how there partner is picked, for some they prefer dull, drab,Suttle wings, others prefer big, bold,Bright wings. And for some they even prefer that the wing is just one solid colour,no marking at all.Others think that the more markings on the wings the better! It's all in self interest,no two dragon horses like the same kind of wing style.

Common breeds

Dragon horse
Now this is the oridanaty dragon horse, nothing much different with it as it doesnt have any tail features or other identifing features. This breed of dragon horses will eat just about anything it can fit in its mouth, including any live creatures, so keep it away from small children or pets. They tend to live with there chosen partner, and are one of the few Dragon horse breeds that partner for life, having live young. They are about the size of a thoroughbred horse

Feathered
The Feathered breed of Dragon horses takes after birds, and marking wise tend to mimic them, with Bold bright and outstanding colours. They are known as the most calm and easy going breed of Dragon horse, not really minding if a kid tugs at there wings or climes all over them, making them the easyest to train. They live in heard of about 30 indviduals, eat grass and plants and give birth to live younge. They are the size of a Ordinary horse.

Sea
The sea Sub breed of dragon horse, unfortunatly cant fly for squat, well, correction they can fly just not in a straite line and tend to crash a fair bit so they dont bother. Now when it comes to swimming the Sea Dragon horse excels. No breed can beat its grace and speed in the water, at all. It prefers to eat Seaweed and the ocational fish. Group wise Sea dragons will normally stick with small groups of 4-6 individuals, and will get aggressive if there territory is invaded by another group. Sea dragon horses also lay eggs insted of giving birth to live younge. They are also one of the smaller breeds, being only as big as a small horse.

Drake Dragon horse
Now the Drake Sub breed is the only known breed to hunt other animals to feed. No other dragon horse breed eats only meat like thise guys, leading to an agressive attack first nature. Due to how agressive they can get it takes a lot to earn a Drake Sub breeds trust but once you do they are one of the most loyal breeds of Dragon horses, ready to fight to the death to protect those they care for. Drake Dragon horses are also the only dragon horse not to live near others of its kind, infact it will try and kill any other Dragon horses it finds in its terratory, be they Drake versions or the calm, easy going Feathered. Drake Dragon horses are the size of a Clydesdale horse and lay eggs, Note be warned if you have a female Drake Dragon horse and shes expecting eggs, she becomes even more aggressive and territorial of her space when she has eggs to protect, even from those who have earned her loyalty. BUt if you give it a few days shes bound to calm down a bit and relise you mean her and her eggs no harm...Just don't try and hurt them, even by accident, or you will not live to regret it.

Uncommon

Scorpion Dragon horse
One of the more aggressive plant eaters, a scorpion Dragon horse is also known as the most flexible, even if your in front of it, it can hit you with its tail. They tend to also live in groups of 5-8 dragon horses who will do the most surprising thing when attacked, form a circle with there back facing outwards protecting the younger or injured in the middle, but with there backs facing outwards there tails have the best swing and distance with hitting so for them its there most defend able position. They lay eggs.

Furred dragon horses
Most take after other animals, and they can be see in groups of 6-10 where they can hunt down there pray. Though they can eat plants it apears they prefer the thrill of the hunt and the tast of a successful kill. Not only do they have canines like a dog but also retractable claws in there paws like a cat. They also give birth to live young in groups of 3-4 a rare traite for a dragon horse that has live young, but there hatchlings tend to be smaller then other dragon horses.

Armored dragon horse
Unlike there appearance suggests, this breed eats only plants, and use's there appearance to intimate and defend themselves. They live in groups of three, normally two bonded adults and one infant, witch is the strangest thing about this breed, though they lay eggs, they only ever have one egg at a time, insted of the usual 4-8 eggs of other egg laying dragon horses.

(note i need my art program to fix up the wings for the baby)
Moth dragon horse
The smallest dragon horse due to its diet of nectar, it can sometimes be hard to find a Moth dragon horse, if it wasn't for the fact most have bold bright colors on there wings and sometimes on there bodys as well. The Moth dragon horse has Little to no defenses, other then using its size to get into areas its predators/attackers can not, they are also a flighty breed perfering to run then stay around if there is danger. They live alone due to there dietary requirements, and most of the time die due to starvation in the wild shortly after reaching adulthood(aka full size), with a human they tend to die only from old age as Sugure water is a good replacement for there nectar requirement and humans can make it with ease. They give birth to live younge and when the infent is born and can stand its parent chases it away, not because it doesn't care for the child but due to the lack of food required in its territory. If it was left to stay with its parent both would starve, but dont worry it seems as though Moth dragon horses know exscatly how to care for themselves once born.
Due to there size moth horse dragons can only breed with others of there kind.

Rare

Bunny Dragon horse
Small like the moth, Bunny dragon horses eat grass and sometimes flowers, but mostly grass. When they fly there wings admit a buzzing and move so fast there just a blur of movement, making the Bunny Dragon horses quite fast in the air, that said it comes with a downside, where other breeds can heal if there wings are injured Bunny dragon horses are one of the few that can not. Not only that if a bunny dragon horses wings are damaged its shuned by others of its kind, and for them, thats a big issue. Bunny dragon horses live in huge family groups, up to about 50 individuals in the one group! So being shunned is a big issue for them, its there biggest fear, they detest being alone. But they also comunicate with each other by there wings, others of there kind dont intend to shun a damaged wing Bunny dragon horse they just cant understand what they are trying to say, so to them that member of there family is dead. Bunny dragon horse give birth to live young.

Hybrids

Butterfly Dragon horse
BunnyXmoth
Its unknown as to how this dragon horse came to be, just that when a bunny and a moth dragon horse had a kid this was the result. Its one of the strangest hybrids becuse it acts like a bunny Dragon horse yet is as terrtioral as the moth.
(pretty much a wip)

Snake Dragon horse
DrakeXarmor
This dragon horse tends to let out hiss like noises, prefering to try and intimidate its attackers then fight. They live around mountains and use the higher altatude to glide on there stiff wings. i say Stiff wings becuse it is unknown if they can be folded, no one has ever seen a Snake Dragon horse with folded wings before. Nore has anyone seen one fly by flapping its wings, they seem to only use them to glide like a sugur glider. But thats not the stranges thing, they dont eat plants or Other Animals insted they somehow eat rock, yet there hide is soft as a pillow, not hard at all like there Armor part. Neather are they as aggressive as there dragon part. This Hybrid is just a pure conundrum, Nothing about it makes sense to anyone because of the Dragon horses its parents have to be. They can have 2-3 eggs in one nest

Fire dragon horse
DragonXScorpian
Now, this Dragon horse is strange, when angered it can set its whole body alight but normaly it sticks with the wings only, we dont know why. Maybe it has to be furiose to set the rest of itself alight, we know it can but it only goes with the wings when angered. Not only that if you have the trust of one of thise guys there flames wont hurt you, no one knows why, you could lay on there back, witch is always on fire, and get the warmth but would be unhurt, and the fire wouldnt stay on your clothing when you left the flames. Its a truely strange phenomenon, more so that if the Fire dragon horse hates you it will try and trick you into touching its flames and then set you alight as a bit of fun. this is a very Peculiar hybrid, More so that it lives on eating flames to fuel its inner light. Fire dragon horses lay 1-2 eggs at a time due to the fact that any eggs layed need to remain in a fire, and since its rare a hybrid will give birth to its own kind of hybrid insted of one of its parents the eggs tend to be fried before they can even get a chance at life. So owners, if your fire dragon horse has eggs, try and get them away from it
before it puts them into a fire of its making.
