xxxmeet catalena, catalena is a fairly old plumeria but not so old that you would be seeing
her in a rocking chair next to a fireplace-kind of old. She has been around though, even set
tled down with kids and a husband. though before that, in her younger years, cat here was
an astronomer. from the time she was old enough to understand plume-tongue just fine, she
was absolutely set on finding out all her little mind could find about the stars and everythin
g else from the great unknown that is.. space. catalena was absolutely swooned by these s
tars and everything from the kepler planets to her finding out the the sun was not the actua
l center of the milky way. and that at the center of the milky way was actually a gigantic
black hole. though as cat got older and older, she realized that astronomy wasn't the way t
o go. even if she had a great love for the deep beyond, it also gave her much fear and axie
ty when she realized just how much was out there that we have no clue about. ending up
having to go to a therapist for this anxiety that exploring the great black depths of space
had given her, she decided to quit her major for astronomy and instead, try to major in so
mething equally as unknown but also much more familiar to her. with that, she decided to
now major in marine biology. though the ocean wasn't like space, they did have many sim
ularities between the two. for years she studied and studied at her college until she finall
y got her degree and went to go and apply at seaworld. there she was accepted in with sl
ight hesitation from the crew as she was fairly young still, only being around 23 at the tim
e but after a while they all warmed up to her and accepted her. especially one of her now
really great friends, marigold.
xxxbesides her love of her job, catalena also has many hobbies that she absolutely enjoys.
from the time cat was little, besides her fascination with the stars and such, she was absol
utely in love with video games. nobody ever really took cat for the tomboy type as was gr
owing up. but as she got older and older, the tomboy within her grew and started to ironic
ally blossom out. she would go outside for hours upon hours on end, digging up worms and
putting them in a bucket to go fishing with her trusty blue fishing pole. she would climb
trees and feed those worms to the baby birds and keep monoter on them. she would go to
the junk yard sometimes even and get old metal parts and make weird contraptions in her
spare time as a young plume. one time, she even made a fake rocket ship and took her
blue and white telescope and pretended she was an astronomer, exploring the vast empty
ness of the night sky that is space.

xxxfor as long as cat could remember, she was always a very open and accepting plumerian.
cat loved anyone and everyone and never really had many enemies or people who disliked he
r besides the few that did. when cat was born, she had an immediate connection with her mo
ther. her mother was her best friend and her whole world, she loved her mother very much an
d her father equally so but there was just something special about her and her mothers conne
ction that could make anyones heart melt. besides her mother arida, she also had a deep con
nection with her sister izadora, otherwise known as izzy by her family. Her and izzy were inc
eperatble. they were two peas in a pod. sometimes their brother disney and father say that th
ey should just be connected by the hip because thats how deep of a connection they had. yea
rs after highschool and college, cat fell in love with a man named sensu, later on they had th
ree daughters. Kahae, Mia, and Makenzie. out of all her children, catalena always seemed to
have a deeper connection with makenzie out of everyone. makenzie was a cis-male at birth b
ut she was trans and turned into a female. makenzie always had a hard time with her new gen
der but cat was always the most accepting. as when cat was younger, she always got picked o
n for being to 'boy-ish' and being a 'tom-boy'. with her liking the outdoors, space, and videogam
es so much, cat understood makenzie which only fueled her relationship with her daughter even
more. then come catalena's best friend, marigold. marigold is a viscet in which cat works and
also had as a childhood friend. for the longest time ever, cat can recall almost every memory
her and marigold had with each other from the day they met until this very day, hour, minute,
and second. her and marigold had an immediate connection when they first met. they were ju
st in preschool when they did meet. they became friends by catalena actually spilling a cup of
paint on marigold after she was trying to paint the solar system in which they had just went o
ver in their preschool class. marigold was fairly cool about the whole situation and even ended
up painting her own solar system. but it was a bit more pink and girly then what cat had made.

Christmas Tradition

Her and her family every year goes to her father’s parent’s house and then to her mother’s parent’s house to open presents. But the party starts when they get to her mother’s parent’s house. Each year the whole family puts in around $100 dollars for giftcards etc. and then her mother takes all those things and wraps them in 300 feet of plastic wrap and you have to try to get as much stuff out as you can with oven mits’ on. The person next to you then has to roll a two dice and have to try to get doubles of the same number and if they do, then you have to throw off the gloves and give it to that person and so on. It’s quite entertaining to watch honestly because Catalena always gets really mad trying to get the items out and she always gets especially mad whenever she would be just about to get something and then all of a sudden the person next to her would roll a double of some number and she would have to throw her over mits off with a growl.
