Breeding Items

Lotus Bud .. Guarantees twins (One Use)

Dandelion .. Allows you to pick the inherent eye colour definitively (Two Uses)

Custom Items

Tier One Custom Voucher .. Allows you to order any custom containing tier one genes

Tier Two Custom Voucher .. Allows you to order any custom containing tier one-two genes

Tier Three Custom Voucher .. Allows you to order any custom containing tier one-three genes

Tier Four Custom Voucher .. Allows you to order any custom containing tier one-four genes

Tier Five Custom Voucher .. Allows you to order any custom containing tier one-five genes

Alteration Items:

Candy Cane .. Allows you to add one extra colour dye to any of your SMHs (One Use)

Other:

Stamp of Approval .. A fancy little stamp to put on a SMH to signify a success of him/her or you, typically given to staff (One Use)

Holiday Medal .. A shiny new medal to put on a SMH to signify participation in the 2016 Winter Gala (One Use)

So, what is the point of all these items? Each item has a different use, but they all have a perk. Breeding items are meant to provide a bonus aimed to those who like to breed to increase their herd. The lotus bud will take up the same amount of breedings slots if you were not to receive twins, but you gain twice as many foals that can share a unique bond in your herd. The Dandelion gives a mild custom aspect to your breeding, and may be useful if you're trying to collect every eye colour. Custom vouchers allow you a range of customs to choose from, and can be used in trading as outlined below. The stamp of approval is mostly just a bragging right, because decorated horses are highly prized within SMHs.

Trading of Custom Vouchers?
Yes, you may trade items. You may even sell or gift, but you must PM me when doing so. Otherwise, you might try to use an item and get declined for not having it. About trading, though, if you have, say, five tier one vouchers but would prefer a dun, then you can advertise a want to trade. Maybe you offer two tier one vouchers for a tier two, and somebody who prefers bays and chestnuts contacts you. Then you can trade, PM me with a final decision, and everyone's happy. Keep in mind that just because it's a higher tier, doesn't mean that there's a set trading ratio. Some people would prefer a nice bay over a roan or white, and so the possibility of trading one tier one for one tier four is very much valid.

Decorated SMHs?
By this I mean horses that have been given things like medals and the stamp of approval. The more items attached to the horse's page (added right to the main post by the artist, or added to a later post by me), the more valuable the horse. It has several accomplishments, and is highly respected by other horses. What does this mean for you? It means you have one mighty fine pony. Once the breed grows, a new opportunity concerning these accomplishments will open up, so stacking on the medals as soon as you can may be an advantage to you.

How do I 'decorate' my SMH?
Any medals, stamps, etc. that can be applied to an SMH must be in your inventory before being used. All you have to do to have one applied is PM me, stating which items you'd like to use and on which horse(s) you'd like them given to.

Why are there images? Will we need to use these for any reason?
No. You don't need to use them. I just added them for aesthetic. Don't they look nice?
The exception to this would be the stamp, because that does actually go on your horse as an image.

Will there be more items?
Most certainly, yes. When the need for new things arises, I'll make sure to add the appropriate item. I also need to put in the medals yet.

How do we get these items?
You cannot purchase any of these. Each item here is awarded as a prize for various reasons. It could be through staff competitions, as RUs, coal runnings, or events. You can also trade/buy them from other people. Somebody may not want a custom voucher, and sell it to you for a WL, or you may not want your SMH and trade it for a voucher from another player. Remember to clear all transactions with me, please.

When awarded an RU (runner up) in an adopt, which is uncommon and only placed in particularly fitting consequences, instead of being made another horse you are given a custom voucher. It is the same tier as the horse you were given an RU for, and you may trade it in to any customs artist, or the adopt artist who gave it to you. This is the only time an adopt artist, if not also a customs artist, may accept a custom voucher.
And, of course, you may trade/sell/gift the voucher just as with any other time. The item is now yours to do with as you wish.
