This is the GWD Breeding thread, where artists will be able to put their personal rules and forms.
Artists: Remember that breeding can only open during November, December and January unless you are otherwise informed!
• At this time breeding can only be done through Male x Female. However Drafts of the opposite gender can still be mates.
• Foals will be created on the adult lines, but will be unbreedable until 2 weeks from their creation date.
• Do not post your form here, PM it to the artist who is open. Be sure to follow all rules they have regarding this.
• All GWD have 10 breeding slots each. Mares can breed twice in a season, and stallions can breed unlimited in a season.
• You may not request traits unless otherwise stated by the artist.
• When a foal is born, it will belong to whomever ordered it unless stated otherwise.
• If one or both of the GWDs you are breeding do not belong to you, you must provide proof of permission from their owners.
• Inbreeding will not be tolerated. No two GWD from the same line may breed together no matter how distant.
Regarding Chimeric, Brindle, and Other Irregular Markings
• If one chimeric parent is present, use the marble generator linked below with 5 Red, 5 Green, 1 blue. May pass chimeric if blue is rolled. If two chimeric parents are present, use 5 Red, 5 Green and 2 blue. May pass chimeric if blue is rolled.
• If one brindle parent is present, use the marble generator linked below with 4 Red, 4 Green, 1 blue. May pass brindle if blue is rolled. If two brindle parents are present, use 4 Red, 4 Green and 2 blue. May pass brindle if blue is rolled.
• Irregular markings such as hearts, or other shapes in brindle or anything, can only pass to 5 first generation foals unless stated otherwise.
• If a breeding item is used on a mare during off season, the foal has a 20% chance of receiving a non-lethal mutation such as brindle or chimeric.
Regarding Breeding Items
(Numbers in chance may change if they prove to be too easy or too hard.)
• There are several types of breeding items, but the main ones are (need names, for now they will be colors) RED, BLUE and GREEN.
• A RED Breeding Item is for mares. It gives you a 2 in 10 chance to safely breed your mare outside of breeding season. If she does become pregnant, it will remove one slot from the stallion and the mare. If she does not, the slots will still be usable another time, but the mare will be on a cool down of 2 weeks, so she cannot make another attempt until that time has elapsed.
• A BLUE Breeding Item is for stallions. It is only usable along with the RED item. When using the BLUE item with the RED, it gives you a 4 in 10 chance instead of 1 in 10 of the mare becoming pregnant safely outside of breeding season. If she does become pregnant, it will remove one slot from the stallion and the mare. If she does not, the slots will still be usable another time, but the mare will be on a cool down of 2 weeks, so she cannot make another attempt until that time has elapsed.
• a GREEN Breeding Item is only usable during breeding season. When you are breeding your mare in November, December or January, if you use a GREEN item it gives you a small chance of receiving twins. This only uses 1 of each mare and stallion's slots.
• To get breeding items, you must win them in events, or receive them during streams by me or my staff.
