"What are the midsummer side events?"
In the spirit of the first ever Doka midsummer event, we've decided to make some fun activities for you to participate after your searches. These events are not the actual summer event, but are just fun activities that take place while the event is going on! You have the chance to earn many free tickets and special items that are hard to obtain here, as well as some spare conches. ^^

The Wishing Well
Are you short a few conches? Problem solved! Throw a coin in the well and get one item in return, such as free conches, geodes, custom/semicustom tickets, items, or even a free doka! Everyday you may throw in one coin for free, but after your one free wish, you must pay 15 geodes to throw in another before rollover time.

Writing Prompts
You can also earn extra conches by writing a little bit about your doka! Other dokas can be used in the story as long as the main character is a doka, and you must have permission from others to use their dokas.

There will be a few prompts put up while the event is taking place; you can write for as many as you'd like, but you must stick to the prompts given. You must write a minimum of 400 words to receive 10 conches of a random color, and you'll receive another 2 conches for every 150 words after the 400 minimum. The word limit is 1600 words, meaning you can earn up to 26 conches per prompt! However, you can only do each prompt once.

Prompts:
1. Your doka stands on the edge of the sand right before their feet hit the water, staring out into the vast ocean.
Write a story about the many thoughts going through their head.

2. On a morning beach stroll, your doka stumbles upon an unusual item that has washed ashore.
Write about what it is, where it came from, and whether they will keep it or throw it back into the ocean.

3. What's better to do on a hot summer day than a game of beach volleyball with close friends!
Write about how the game went, who your doka played with, and the fun they had playing.
