You sure can! Just don't edit the actual lines or design. Please no wigs, fake horns or items that could otherwise be confused for actual edits.

As long as the design on said hair stays the same and the hair remains the same general length. Yes.

The easiest tokens to get are free event tokens or win copper from trying out for GGs that are up for adoption. You have to pay other currencies for silver and only staff can be given platinum.

It means they're like a monkey. They can grab and hang onto things using it. This is why shorter tails don't show up as often since they can't move around as much without a longer tail. It's like a really flexible extra arm with a grabber on the end of it.

If you purchase the available items in the token shop, yes. Otherwise, no. Even then it must be approved before the edited version can be posted.

It's funny you ask that, a lot of ways. Sometimes I open the thread for staff forms. Other times I hold a competition and will look over entries and the main way I've been hiring is looking through other people's competitions or created pets. If I like what I see enough, I'll shoot them a pm.

Once you post a MYO, that's it. That appearance, the edits, are all set in stone. You will have to purchase other items from the token shop to make any other changes and there are no refunds once you post it.

You mean like work a normal job and drive cars?? Most, if not all, GGs don't dress up in fully body clothing or use technology much less drive vehicles like humans do. But there can be communities that barter and trade for things they do everyday for a living. That's kind of a job?

They have body language similar to cats and dogs on occasion. And while they are sentient enough to understand English, they certainly can't actually speak it.

Most often they can do so with similar species of animals, like dogs, cats, alligators, crocodiles, lizards, frogs, big cats, wolves, etc. Fowl and fish I'd say would be long shots if they could understand them.

Think, Avatar: The Last Airbender. GGs of certain elements can essentially control the element they have, which is determined at birth. These elemental powers range mostly from being able to "bend" or "move" things of their element. Basic elements like water, nature, earth, fire, etc. can sometimes create small amounts of their actual element without having to have any present. There are more complex elements like Time and Psychic which do different things like telepathy and slow or stop certain things in general.

That's up to the owner but yes, there is written lore pertaining to a set of beliefs that GGs may or may not believe in. For each element there are deities that bring GGs of that element into the world. So, say you win a gg that has the water element. If they were religious they might make offers or pray to the deity of the water element. It would be this deity who brought them into existence while giving them their blessings, which would be their power or ability to control water. It's sort of like flight rising, where they have a dragon that rules over each flight.

Really the only exception here is possibly a Psychic using GG and maaaybe using telepathy. Though really I'd rather they couldn't at all otherwise it takes the fun out of charades don't you think?

If it's regarding another user in the community, aka harassment or if you think an artist (even me) is being biased, then you would go to a mod about the situation. Likewise, if you'd like to gift a GG or rename them all the archiving is to be done by mods. We all communicate in a staff chat off of CS so we'll all pitch in about things if need be or to get approval for other things.

The only real reason you would contact me directly is if you have a problem with another staff member in particular that may even be a mod. That or things no one else can really edit/add people to. Like the adopts or event and custom color-in if you're GA and I've forgotten. If you'd like something put on the front page of the fanclub, etc.

Unless you're permanent GG staff, you shouldn't be able to see them. This is normal.

I go roughly the lowest amounts on the front page of the "how much is this worth in c$?" thread. If you want exact amounts and timely replies then you'd want the one to two opinions from there. If you give me in the middle range between one or another silver price, sometimes I'll give the extra silver piece or I'll edit the trade with slightly less pets to equal the lesser value without ripping anyone off if possible.

Teacups are more than very rare, I want to keep them limited. Most people cannot see because it's in the actual color in, but there is only one Teacup per fifty normal adopts outside of events.

Fanart can be done by anyone, one on one roleplays are fine. As for group roleplays I would prefer if they were ran by mods but anyone can start one if they like!

Most of these are because of special circumstances, like for instance Dave Egbert recently had a birthday and is a real close friend of mine. She's also had a recent death in her family. Me and Zacharie~ had a bit of a gifting war so to speak lol. The first two GGs were Christmas presents from me, while the one she gave me was for Valentine's day. We're both very stubborn about taking gifts without giving something in return lol. Please remember that I do own the species and it's my right to give out extra customs to whoever I want and whenever I want. The staff custom guidelines are merely that, guidelines to help me gauge how much work my staff has done.

It's a Christmas in summer kind of event. There will be a gift palm tree and the tokens will be Hospitality Tokens or rather Pineapple shaped/engraved golden tokens. You'll be able to be naughty or nice by giving these to others or being greedy and keeping them for yourself. That's just the bare bones of what I got so far. ;3

I've been debating the best time to do so to be honest. I want to make sure I got staff in mind for both aging artists and nursery artists. It won't be as simple as most adopts where you get one to two children. Six is a huge number for any artist. I hope maybe maaaaaaaaaybeeeee after Spring Fever perhaps? Aka anytime after May 1st.

Semi-customs have to wait until slots are available for artists on staff to take them. They are also limited to three edits, none of which can be very rare. With semi-customs you don't usually get to pick both the design influence AND the color palette. GA MYOs you get from being a Guest Artist, they can only have 2-3 minor edits since it comes free for non-owners. But you do get to make it exactly how you want and do not have to wait on slots or another artist to make it for you. A bought MYO can be done by you or someone else, these can have unlimited edits as long as they are not very rare. If you want very rare edits you have to pay extra. And because it's a MYO, again you do not have to wait for slots to open and you or the person you wish to make your MYO get full say before approval. Staff customs are special because they have no limitations. This means as many edits, very rare or not, while being done by yourself or someone else. The only exception is, they cannot be teacups.

If you plan on gifting an event bought or nursery hatchling, the first time that GG is gifted there is no cooldown to trade or gift another GG from the previous owner. The new owner goes on a two week cooldown where they cannot gift or trade that GG. Tryout or readopts must be owned for two weeks before being giftable or tradable. When two users trade GGs, they both cannot trade or gift for two weeks any of their GGs afterwards. The only exceptions for this is mass gifting away or readopting if leaving the community which you will have to talk to a mod or other staff member before doing so. Either way, if you plan to trade or gift to someone both parties need to pm a mod and the artists that did the designs (to be added to the refs).
