This journal is, in context, a very short autobiography
up until this point in my life.
It contains some of the most memorable things
I've done!
Don't worry, I've organized this little journal into a few
sectors so that you can comprehend it a tad better.
And I've also included a glossary, so if my large
vocabulary is a bit intimidating, you can refer to it.

• C H I L D H O O D

"This part of my story is quite embarrassing, I don't think my
childhood was the best part of my life..."
As a child, Elliot was a bit full of himself. Not saying that he isn't today, but he was even
more so during his childhood. He preferred to be called "Elliot the Great" and was called
that only by his older sister.


O N E - D A Y - A S - A - G I R L
5 year old Elliot peeked over the side of the bed, watching in amazement as his older
sister applied mascara.
"What's that?"
She set down the mirror, turning in his direction, a little smile playing on her lips.
"This? This is mascara. It's a type of makeup."
"Can I use some?"
"Ahh silly, sorry. You can't, bud."
"Why not?" Elliot tilted his head in confusion. "You can."
"Well, you're a boy I guess. Make up is for girls."
"I want to be a girl!" He huffed, flopping on her bed, launching little bottles into the air.
"That's a big decision to make. Why don't you pretend to be a girl for a day first, to see
if you like it or not." She smiled, putting away the makeup and dropping it in her dresser.
"Okay." Elliot thought for a moment. "What kind of stuff do girls do?"

Elliot held a little doll up to his chest, running across the playground for recess. He threw
himself down on the field, doll and toys spilling on the ground. He played with them, playing
family and superstars, when a boy shyly came up to him.
"Hi! My name is Elliot. If you want to play with me you can! I don't mind sharing." A grin
spreading across his face, Elliot motioned for the kid to join him. "I'm playing family."
The boy shyly smiled, hair falling into his face.
"My name is Lisianthus, but you can call me Lisian. Do you mind if I'm the mom?"
Elliot nodded.
By the end of recess, Elliot had made his first friend.

• T E E N A G E - Y E A R S

It was in his teenage years when Elliot decided to start cooking.
He rather enjoyed the hobby and found it really fun to make food
for his friends.

M A D E - W I T H - L O V E

Elliot's passion for cooking started when he was 15. His grandfather
was diagnosed with severe Alzheimer's Disease, and since he lived
by himself, he needed care. Elliot volunteered, along with help
from his older sister. Elliot was assigned with feeding, clothing,
bathing and cooking for his grandfather. His grandfather enjoyed
the company and cooking, and that inspired Elliot to become
a better chef.
