What is a Makoatl?
A Makoatl is a terrestrial shark-dragon hybrid recently discovered
off the coast of the Greenland sea. They have the powerful tail
and jaws of a shark, with the body and (occasional) horns of a dragon.
They usually have manes, and are covered in thick coats of fur-
adapted to keeping out the cold in their native habitat.
They live on a diet of mainly meat and fish, and are known to be vicious
hunters! Despite this attitude toward their prey, however, they
are very protective and mothering to their offspring,
as well as to each other the majority of the time.

Hey guys! I'm running this years Secret Santa!

How Does it Work?
After you've signed up wait until the 20th of November for me to close forms and send you who you got this year for your Secret Santa. You will have a month and 5 days to gather art for your person according to their wishlist. Secret Santa is secret, I dont recommend telling anyone who you got for your Giftee unless you are ordering art... Put simply: Be careful! I will assign Gifting to be the 24th of December to the 7th of January in case anyone is going off for vacation around there!

What is Required of me?
You must have at LEAST 3 pieces of custom art, I'd like AT LEAST one done by you, but not required!


What Else Can I do??

- Art may either be made by you, Commissioned by you by an artist
- Stories and poems (must fit the character's personalities)
NOTE: Only given Written works if your person has agreed to accept them in his/her wishlist.

When do I need to send my gifts?
You must send your gifts between December 24, 2015 and Jan 7th, 2016

What if I don't send my gifts?
You will be banned from any future Mako events. The staff and I have agreed that this is the fairest course of action.

What if I can't draw?
Order art instead, or write! Just make sure it fits the character.

How do I join?
Post the statement "Little Leo, I'm ready for Christmas!", followed by your username and your wishlist.

What do I put on my wishlist?
- Up to 5 character references (5 is the Maximum)
Mako Owners: Please include your Makos, at least one of them!
Non-Owners: We ask you to include one shark-dog if you have one. If not, than any characters will work.
- Brief personalities or links to character pages with information for these characters
- Additional info and/or thank you notes

What do I do when I have sent my gift?
Post "Little Leo, my sled is empty!" And you will be marked off

Once the event starts, you may no longer switch out character references under ANY circumstances.

Cell is a rough-n-tumble sort of gal with a huge heart for adventure as well as daredevil stunts.

Terra
Like her grandfather, Axel, she is pretty chill and loves to say 'got it memorized?' all the time, though she really doesnt quite know what that means... An energetic ball of fluff she feels bad when she breaks the rules so tends to follow them to a T.

Sir Jeffers
In love with playing make-believe. His common make-believe plays would be Rebecca and Sir Jeffers Jr, whom he named after himself and their star-crossed love. He is a huge fan of Bravest Warriors, Catbug and Imposibear mainly, thus why he also gave himself the name Sir Jeffers. His real name is unknown.

Haruki
He is very energetic, constantly moving, never able to sit still. He speaks a mile a minute, and is very hard to understand. He loves making friends, even if they if they do not want to be friends with him. He believes everyone loves him and that he is the life of the party. Haruki loves to eat sweets and runs around with candy in his mouth. The love of his life is Jarik, though he refuses to actually admit that... or that they're actually together.

Morpheous
Morpheous is very skittish and being blind doesnt help. He has excellent hearing, which often leads to him having multiple panic attacks due to 'strange' sounds. He is a homebody, focusing on his music, that and he knows he is safe in his own house... For the most part. He cannot trust many easily, for people scare him very badly, and thus he has little friends due to driving them all off in one way or another.

Vincent, or just Vince when you first meet him, can be a bit standoffish and quiet, and is extremely shy. However, he has a sharp tongue and isn't afraid to speak his mind if you make him upset or angry. Vince can be a bit prickly at first as well, but it's mostly because he isn't too good at talking to people, he trips over his words easily. Once he gets to know someone, he is actually very kind. He is mates with Sentoki's Roen, so ship art would be amazing!


Kordras is a huge, major WIP as I'm having issues connecting with him, but I cannot trade him away as of right now. I absolutely love his design but I'm trying so hard to attempt and connect with him.
