What are stats?
╚══════════════════╝
When recieving a Kit, you have the choice of making it a Show Kit. What's with the stats?
A Show Kit, can also be called a SK, is a Kit-Kin that you have selected to participate in shows. The SK has five stats, Agility, Attention, Endurance, Performance, and Temper. If you were to get a Kit that had no family, and was not formerly a SK, you would have a random point roll of 1-5. Now, if the Kit has parents above 5 points, it has a chance of getting points that are above 5. You can only go up to 10 points per stat without Training. The max amount of points for training is 20, so you can no longer train your kit if you have 100 total stat points.
Now, what does each stat do?
Agility - How well your Kit can complete your level's course. It is the key to being fast in the shows.
1-2 | It can barely get past the second obstacle.
3-5 | You can almost get through it.
6-10 | You can get past it with no problem, but you aren't very fast.
11-15 | Your kit is at a nice speed through the obstacles, but does make mistakes here and there.
16-20 | You finish the course within seconds, with little to no mistakes.
Attention - When doing agility, your kit cannot get distracted! It also plays a key part when the judges inspect your Kit, and you don't want your SK running off to tackle a moth.
1-3 | It can barely sit still long enough for you to get a glass of water.
4-7 | It sits still for decent amounts of time, but generally doesn't listen to you.
8-10 | It will listen to commands, but how long the Kit holds it is short.
11-15 | It listens nicely, holds the command, and sits still, but will focus on something else after a while.
16-20 | Your SK has little no no attention problems, and cooperates nicely.
Endurance - How long your kit can hold up to do something, and how much energy is left over. This must be around the same as the Agility, or your Kit may have to take many breaks to go at the speed it is going. It's recommended that you only let it get at most 3 points behind, or ahead.
3+ Ahead | It is bouncing with energy, still ready for the course. At home, all this energy is put into tearing curtains.
3 | You should probably train your Kit harder. This energy that's left could spell a disaster!
2 | It still has some jump left in it's step, but after holding a command for 5 minutes, it soon calms down.
1 + -1 | You have nothing to worry about.
-2 | Your Kit is starting to lag a little behind. It probably needs a quick rest.
-3 | Your kit isn't doing so well. It's lagging quite far behind.
-3+ | You should consider working your SK so it doesn't give out every three jumps.
Performance- It's your Kit's talent! You may choose what it is, and in certain Shows, some performances will be quite handy. You can have 2 different talents/performances, but they cannot be changed, so choose wisely!
1-4 | You trained your Kit at one talent, but it isn't very good.
5-7 | Your Kit is trying really hard, and seems to be coming along nicely. There aren't as many errors.
8-10 | The first talent is just about perfect, just a few little mistakes.
11-14 | Your kit would rather keep working on the first talent than the second one, but it soon learns what you want.
15-17 | Your SK has become more skilled in your second talent. Maybe better than the first.
18-20 | Both talents are darn near perfect or very close!
Temper- How well your Kit handles situations, and poking and prodding by the judges. It's also how well it tolerates training, so it's best to have this high.
1-5 | When it comes to training, I suggest you crab the Medicine Case.
6-10 | It doesn't hard, but it isn't pleasant either. You can get away with a growl once in a while.
11-15 | It no longer bites, and rarely growls. Does it enjoy your company? Let's hope so.
16-20 | Your Kit is no longer mean, and doesn't try to do any harm. You can retire those oven mitts!
