The Mangalarga Marchador is a horse that is very versatile and has an extremely gentle nature. They are a gaited breed and come in a wide range of colors and markings. Their height range is from 14.2 hh to 16 hh. They have an arched neck and a thick, full mane and tail. Their gaits are unique to their own breed. They are very common in Brazil and are Brazil's National Horse. However, more and more people are importing them to America to breed and show them.

This is the case here. Settled next to and around a long stretch of the Rocky Mountains, Maroon River Ranch's goal is to produce the best Marchadores it can. We normally prohibit crossbreeding unless the cross will benefit the horse and the resulting foal won't be breed back to a Marchador. We are only doing this to preserve and improve the breed; not to discourage anyone. We will rarely sell, but when we do, it would most likely be in breeding pairs. Or a mare and a stallion that can breed together and will benefit the resulting foals.

Barn Owner

Keil is a 6 foot 2 male with wavy black hair. He is only 23 years old but has already developed the respect of many horse trainers and breeders. He is currently the only person working and running the place. When he is away on shows, his neighbor and girlfriend Kalli takes care of the ranch. Keil is a very patient and gentle horse trainer.
