What is a Kiamara?
A kiamara is a wolf/lion-like creature. They have long, fluffy manes on the top of their heads, running down between their shoulders. They all have spots on their bodies- a trait in which will never be bred out of their DNA. They also have feathers- every Kiamara is given feathers when they reach the age of 2 years old. Their diet consists of fruit as well as meat- they prey on similar creatures that wolves would. Kiamara can be very shy before they get to know you. Can you win a Kiamara's heart?

Kiamaras is a strong and vast community filled with many fans, owners or not, all interested in the same species and its growth. Because Kiamaras has moved to DeviantART, we have some separation between the adopts and the fanclub, and it has slightly shifted the activity within the club. On top of that, many new owners and fans have joined the club, but are slightly set apart from other members or don't know where to start in making friends. Here, we'll make sure that it changes!

This will be a summer program that will (hopefully) continue running for a long time, as long as Kiamaras has an active fanbase. There's no pressure, only fun and collaboration. You can make friends, help each other develop your Kias, and participate in multiple small events and bi-weekly activities. Everyone is allowed to participate, and there will be opportunities for non-owners too!

My Kiamaras will take over from here!
Before diving in to our activities, please go over our rules with Ezra and let Sequoia familiarize you with our staff.

Rules
"All fun things must involve rules, love. Breaking them, in this case, is not an option for fun."

xXx. Please be respectful of all kiamara staff, community-building staff, and other participants.
xXx. No complaining or user-negativity is allowed. If it's Kia negativity, it must not be offensive to anyone in particular, including slurs and guilting.
xXx. Owners and co-owners must be nice to non-owners, and vice versa.
xXx. Remember this is for fun and community-strengthening.
Don't be sore or bitter about losing Kias or event opportunities, etc.
xXx. Follow all CS and Kiamara rules. No exceptions.
xXx. This is not a thread for advertising. The only thing you should be seeking is development partners, and those will be taken care of in the activities.
xXx. Once again, begging, whining, complaining, etc is not allowed.

Stall 1: The Buddy-Buddy System

"It's great to see you guys! My name is Seamus O'Niel.
I'm here to help familiarize you with the Buddy-Buddy System. I'm really hoping you'll enjoy this!

The name of the game is to fill out a short form and be added to the Buddy List. Every 2 weeks, random.org will pair all of you off and you'll have a new Buddy to develop your Kias with through pm! Non-owners and co-owners can do this as well, so don't be afraid! If you don't own a kia, then just use another character. I want everyone to get to know each other and make friends!

If at any point you no longer want to be on the Buddy List, just PM Rivkah and she'll remove you. Have fun!"
