Guest Artist/ Artist Competition

This competition is being held in order to find 5 Artists for Betta Buddies. Guest Artists (I will allow up to two winners) are not permanent, though they will be allowed to make up to two batches of pets over the course of two weeks. Artists will be required to make up to two batches every other week for as long as they wish to be a full-time artist. Full-time artists may have ONE custom.

This competition will last until March 27, 2015 at 12:00 PST. Winners will be chosen the next day. More artist competitions will be held here every time another artist is needed. Guest Artist Competitions will be held every month.

Guest Artist/ Artist Competition Rules

- You may color and enter up to five bettas. Only one may have line edits.
- You may not keep any of your entries unless you are chosen as that month's winner, in which case that will count as your only custom if you are a full-time artist.
- Use the linearts provided.
- Take your time when designing, there will probably be some crazy competition.
- No spamming or double posting.
- Do not complain if you don't win.

Competition Info

- The provided lineart can be colored on any program.
- You do not need to make the backgrounds transparent for the pets. Posting them as they are is fine.
The pixels MUST be uploaded using an image hosting site that will not change the original size of the image, like Photobucket. Then either copy and paste the IMG or create a link to the image(s).
- If you are selected as a winner at the end of this round then you will be PMed with information.

Mod Competition

This competition is being held in order to find three or four Mods for Betta Buddies. You will be the ones

I am currently looking for three or four Mods to join the staff, though as Betta Buddies grows I may consider hiring more. Mods will get to also take part in "Staff Litters" and in most events.

This will end the same date as the Artist Competition.

I've made lines before, but I haven't necessarily been happy with them. Here are some links. This was one I tried, but didn't really like.. and I'm working on this one.

Why do you want to become a Betta Buddies Mod?: On adopts back when I was a new user, the mods often ignored my questions or were very rude to me. Being a mod gives me the chance to actually help users as I wanted to be helped back then. I also really love this adopt, though I haven't gotten a betta yet</3

How long have you been on CS?: I have had an account here for a little over two years now (Woot!).
How active are you on CS?: I am on almost every day, usually for at least an hour each day.
Why do you want to become a Betta Buddies Mod?: I found Betta Buddies not too long ago, but I love it! I enjoy helping out with adoptables that I like, and modding is the best way (in my opinion) to do so!
Would you consider yourself an active member in Betta Buddies?: Yes, I have the thread bookmarked and check it every day!
Have you had any past experience as a mod for any other thread on CS? If so, can you provide links?: Quite a bit, actually. I was a mod for a thread called "The Egg Hunt!" which was run by ~Steampunk Kitten~. It was a pet-gifting thread that was shut down by the owner when they ran out of pets - unfortunately I don't have the link for this one.
I am currently a mod for Excuses 101, run by TeaAndCrumpets, but this one is not active at all.
I am also a mod for The CS Goldpot, another pet-gifting thread run by Wolf Howls. My job is to PM Wolf Howls whenever someone broke the rules, so the only posts from me that you'll see are bumps. Recently, the owner has been less active on the thread, so I'm not sure how much longer it'll be active, but I continue to do my job checking the thread each day.
Lastly, I am a mod for Glass Foxes and Mini Hamsters, both run by Nebula_Blossom (who sometimes goes by Nebula_Espeon). Mini Hamsters is new and I have not done any work yet, but I have been with Glass Foxes almost since its beginning. ^_^
