Welcome to the CWHR Customs/Breeding/Tack thread! Before you order anything please make sure you have read the rules on the main thread and the rules on here.

Rules
1. You may mark this thread
2. You may only order when a session opens. I will post on this thread when they are open.
3. When I post saying a session is open, I will specify how many customs/breedings/tack you can order
4. Sometimes, only one or two categories will open
5. Artists will claim your order if they feel comfortable that they can complete it
6. Do not bump your thread, your order WILL get done
7. No ordering companions or unnatural horse colours

Customs & Breedings are

CLOSED

When orders open it starts what we call a session. Sessions are usually 1-3 days long, and will open at random times, likely once a month. When a session is closed, it will say so above, when a session is open, it will say so above too, but also explain to you how many customs and breedings you can order in the session. Tack and mane and tail edit orders don't have a limit, but are more expensive. When ordering a custom, breeding, tack, or edit, copy and paste the forms given below, filling them out fully and correctly!

Ok, now lets talk a little about pricing and artists availability. All of us have real lives and sometimes artists just have too much on their plate to do customs, even when the session is open. If they are closed, they will post that specifically at the Artists Thread. If the artists are closed, please do not request them when ordering customs. If you request an artist that is open for customs, and that artist feels they can't do it, they have the total right to turn it down. Don't worry! Another artist will take it.

Pricing for tack and mane edits are posted below, and must be that pay no matter what artist you are ordering them from. Customs and breedings all have different payments depending on the artist that completed the order. The artists get to choose what they want people to pay them for their work, and post it at the Artists Thread. If you do not pay for your order after the horse is made, the artists have the right to keep it or put it up for adoption!

CUSTOMS

Custom horses are horses that you really want, and my artists and myself create for you. Unlike adoptables customs cost pets or items, visit our Artists Thread for info on prices for each artist. The fist custom you order at cottonwood ranch is FREE.

The payment is due as soon as you order, so please send it to right artist when you order, or when you find out who is doing your custom. Remember, the horse is not yours until you pay. If you do not pay in a certain amount of time the artist has the authority to put the horse up for adoption, gift it, or keep it for him/herself. a certain amount of time the artist has the authority to put the horse up for adoption, gift it, or keep it for him/herself.

Due to wanting CWHR to be a realistic adoption center, we cannot allow the ordering (via customs) of Zebras, Przewalski's Horses, Donkeys, Zorses, Mules; as well as horses that are Chimeras, Somatic, Brindles, or have extreme edits to the lines. These will only be available through limited adopts, prizes, and breedings.

I would appreciate it is you put a reference picture, so the artists can see exactly what you want. If you are not pleased with your custom, do not be afraid to speek up. Most of my artists are willing to make changes to the custom to fit your liking for free.
Last but not least, if you would like a mane and tail edit to come with your custom, look a few posts down. We are going to have everyone order mane and tail edits separately now. If you would like a mane and tail edit to come with your horse, please post the form for them right below the custom you are ordering, saying that it is for the "above custom" or something. This will mean extra payment. We will not accept orders that request any edits in them, unless they are requested using the edits form.

BREEDINGS

Breeding is open to everyone who has a horse, you can breed your own horses or you may use stallions and/or broodmares owned by other members that are up for stud and can be found at the Matchmaking Thread. Members are not allowed to charge other members for the use of their horse but, owners who would like to allow the free use of their horse please message me. I will then place the horse's name and link under the broodmare and stud spots. Horses can be bred as many times as the owner allows so if the owner only wants two foals made with their horse that is how many will be available for others to use while the owner can have as many as he/she wants. Please do NOT order twins or particular genders for the foals. That comes by chance. That is the fun of breeding.

Breedings are done by the artist of your choice, which allows the artist to make their own breeding payment that you must send them. You can find each artists prices at the Artists Thread If you do not have a preference to what artist you would like to do your horse, just say anyone. If you are using another persons horse with permission or a public stud, please say so in the "other" section.

TACK SHOP:

This shop is where you order extra accessories for a special horse! The tack shop is always open, so it does not run with the sessions. You can find out if the artists you request is open to take tack orders at the Artists Thread. Because we want tack to stay fairly uncommon, and becuase they are more work, they are more pricey than even getting a horse made! Please follow the payment charts shown below when ordering tack, and if you have any questions pm me! If you are getting your tack done by a artist other than the one that made the horse that you are ordering for, the artist will have to be added to the horses color in list before they can start the tack. You can either inform the horses artist that you are having tack done on the horse and for them to keep their eyes open, or wait to have the tack artist post on the horses page asking to be added. Every Four Rares you spend you get one off. Their are a few examples below of what type of tack you might want added to your horse, but the most important thing is that you supply a reference picture for what you want.
