~
Here you may breed your kitties. There is a 50% chance it will be successful. If not, you'll have to wait a week before trying to breed those two again. If succesful, you will recieve 1-3 kitties unless you have a special breeding potion from the Market.
Once successful, Fiona will tell you how many Hoodie Kitties you've gotten and that you must wait before seeing them and taking them home. Once ready, they will appear at the Pickup Center.
If you have >2 kitties, there is a 1/3 chance that one of the kitties will run away and appear in the pound. If you see one of your own kitties in the pound, you MAY try to get it back, but no one knows when it will appear in the pound.
PPS BREEDING:
PPS Hoodie Kitties may breed, though they do it a little differently. Most is the same though. PPs Hoodie Kitties may also breed with non-PPS Hoodie Kitties, but if you want to breed your PPs with a non-PPS, it will less likely be successful. (33% chance instead of 50%) But if you give it a breeding potion, it will turn back into a 50, 50 chance. If a PPs breeds with another PPS, the success rate will be the same as normal (50,50, 100 with breeding potion) If the breeding is successful, the offspring may not be PPS kitties. If you breed a PPS with another PPS, it will increase the chance of a PPS kit.
The Offspring:
The ofspring of your Hoodie Kitties may look not too much alike the parents, or look very similar to one parent but not the other, or sometimes it could look like both. The kittens will have at least one noticable characteristic from one of the parents, but most likely it will inherite something from both parents.
Offspring Rarities:
The rarity of the offspring depends on the rarity of the parents. Normally, it will be between the two rarities. (Example: Common X Rare = Uncommon) But, if the two rarities are close toeach other, Uncommon and Rare for example, the ospring's rarity would most likely be the commoner one, in this case, the uncommon. If one parent is a Custom, the rarity will be the rarity of the other parent. If both are Customs, then the rarity of the offspring will be random. (Most likely common, unlikely Rare)
Offspring Type:
Types: Normal, fluffy-tailed, PPS, angel, devil.... you know. But what type will your offspring be? If both kitties are the same type, it will be that type, but if they are different, it will most likely be the more common type. (Check Main thread under introduction for type rarities) If the parents are different types but the types are the same rarities, (Boomer-tailed and Fluffy-Tailed), it's 50-50.
But if it's a custom that's mixed, fluffy-tail with devil horns and angel wings for example, the offspring could be any of those types, fluffy-tailed, devil, or angel, but only one. The offspring cannot be mixed. But the same rules still apply. It's most likely the more common type, in this case, the fluffy-tailed.
3rd-Gen Breeding:
3rd-Gen breeding is allowed. 4th gen, 5th gen and so on are also allowed. The only thing with 3rd Gen Breeding (And so on) is that the offspring can inherite characteristics from any of it's ancestors. It will most likely inherite characteristics from it's parents and others close to it's generation but it's possible that it inherites characteristics from it's Great great Grandparents!
